Recommended Posts

A seven round Browns mock draft.

The one who comes closest to the Browns draft picks in order wins. Now let's say two people get 4 out of 7. The winner out of the two would be the one who picks the most in the higher rounds. Only one entry per person. Entries have to be in by April 27th at noon. (ct time) Have fun Go!

The prize...

A 1960 Topps Jim Brown card. It's in vg shape.

Ok check this out...

Throw some ideas around for a couple of days and we'll tweak this thing.

One proposal ...

Each round gets points for what round the player was drafted in.

Example Wentz in the first round gets one point. If he were to get drafted in the third round he would be three points.

Trades..

If a player you pick in the round he was drafted and it involved a trade you get double the points.

Example Wentz gets picked at # 4 with a trade from Dallas. 2 points.

Win the contest first then if you want to exchange I'm sure we can work something out. OnePost

Oh, I'll be in it to win it.Piece of cake...lol

The points examples would work, great ideas. You could add confidence points, of how sure

you are that the Browns will draft a certain player for a bonus, 1-5. Like, I'd put a five on Wentz

at 2. But then again, I'd miss all the confidence points if the Browns traded down a few spots and still took him.

Just a thought, not necessarily a good idea......

Heres what Im thinking.

1st - 10 pt

2nd - 20

3rd - 30

and so on

If you get the position right but player wrong you get half points

If you get player right but round wrong half points of the lowest points of prediction or actual round drafted.

We could make it a cash prize.....everyone sends in $10 ...winner take all

Please send checks made out to Bernie Madoff before end of March.

Deadline to post picks? Would make sense to wait until day before the draft. Also what if the Browns trade a pick?

Only rounds matter as far as gaining points. So if you predict Wentz in round 1, but we trade down to 7 and still get Wentz, you get the full 10 points. If we take Goff round 1 youd get 5. If wed get Wentz round 2 youd get 5 points.

Bump

Ok 7 rd mock draft. Entries in by April 27th. The rules ...

Correctly pick the player drafted in the correct round you get points.

1st round 10 pts

2nd round 20 points.

3rd round 30 pts

Etc ..ect

If you can pick a player but lands on your mock draft but the wrong round you get half the points.

If you predict a trade in a round you get 10 points and if you name the player traded or drafted you get 20 pts.

There it's that simple. You could just give seven names and still win without picking the round.

The prize a Jim Brown Football card '60 #23 in VG shape. If you want another card yes you can get whatever but not of higher value. I'm not going to screw myself.

Ok that's it start mocking!

Nope. You have to actually score points to win. So when you finish with zero points, its like you never even played ;)

I thought we had to score zero points....its a Browns based game after all

Do we get points for right player, wrong pick? Because if so...

2) Wentz

3) Jack

3) Ramsey

4) Bosa

4) Buckner

4) Hargreaves

5) Tunsil

5) Stanley

5) Elliott

6) Floyd

7) Conklin

We've got to draft one of them, right?!
