Westside Steve
OK I realize it's way too early to be talking presidential election but if you are most likely voting Republican or Democrat which two candidates would you give a preliminary nod to? You can give a couple ideas if you want. It occurs to me I could live with Chris Christie and Condoleezza Rice. On the other side I don't see anyone beating Hillary Clinton for the first chair. Any opinions on vice president for her? Do you think she goes hard left or moderate left? WSS
Westside Steve
Hillary Clinton is meat clitted dolt and just another version of Obama/Bush/Clinton. Elections are a fucking joke because all the major decisions are made by lobbyist and big busniess. Well I can't completely disagree... So you would have absolutely no preference on either side? calfoxwc
I wouldn't vote dem ever, with their pack of crappies. I really admire Thune, S.D. - I wish he'd run. Higgardly? She's as corrupt, or more so, than ObaMao. Just wait til SHE could get into our W.H. Which, I hope is never. She's garbage. They are both radical, self-interested, corrupt liars and socialist pigs. Thune is everything I think our next president needs to be - and soon.
LogicIsForSquares
I hadn't thought about it because I generally vote 3rd party. I know Hillary will get the presidential nod on the Democratic side if her health holds up. I imagine they will pick a minority VP candidate to try and pull at all the right strings. I could live with Rand Paul if he can cut the social conservatism bullshit out. I doubt he can if he wants to win the primaries.
MLD Woody
I think, at this point, it is pretty lame to say "I'm 100% voting Dem" or "I'm 100% voting Rep". I'll wait and see what happens, how the whole process goes, who gets picked, etc. It probably depends a lot on if the Reps put up a moderate, ration candidate or Cals tea party wet dream candidate

I have never been affiliated with any party But unfortunately people will just vote along party lines and nothing will change. We will have a POTUS that can't get anything done because congress won't agree and visca versa. Until the 2 party system in eliminated, this will NEVER end
Stewy
The Hillary campaign button and slogan is already out. What Difference Difference Does It Make who the filthy Democratic candidate is. They're all liberal socialist d-bags.
Osiris
The first time I voted in my life I went Republican. The second time Democrat. At this point I'm not all that excited about either party or anyone they have to offer. I might go with a third party this time just voice my dissatisfaction with the two-party system. Since I live in MA it will go Democrat regardless of how I vote anyway.

Westside Steve
So for those of you who want to rail at Hilary for being the hardest left candid it out there why not take a look at who came in a close second in a recent Iowa poll? Elizabeth f****** Warren. WSS
Osiris
Here is a speculated list of options: http://www.politics1.com/p2016.htm I think on the republican side, Scott Brown and Chris Christie are the most moderate?
sadbrownsfan
Honestly I don't know who to I would vote for, the last couple elections the republicans candidates have been really bad and I don't think I could vote for Hillary.... Looking at the list I would say dean for the dems or jindal for reps would be the best options.
calfoxwc
I think on the republican side, Scott Brown and Chris Christie are the most moderate like democrats ? *************** Fixed.
MLD Woody
Well yes, a Republican out of a group of Republicans that is most moderate would be most like a Democrat. That would be how the spectrum works. The most moderate Dem would also be the most Rep by the same logic
calfoxwc
Truth is, John Bolton needs to be the Republican nominee, with Thune as VP. Time to get our country back to the ... right ...side.
LogicIsForSquares
Cal, guys like Thune would win the Republican nod then eat shit in the Presidential election. LogicIsForSquares
I imagine it matters to the people who vote for those particular candidates. I think it is all a joke anyway because both parties are more than paid for by lobbyists. I was referring more to the fact that if the goal of the Republican voters is to get their favorite empty suit in office then towing a hard line on issues that the majority of people oppose is not the way to get there. They can keep voting the way they do in primaries and never get to win against the empty suit beloved by Democrats.

Obama was elected to two terms because hard line Republican ideas are not appealing to most Americans. Logic ********************************************* Trouble is, you could say the same thing when Bush won twice. And Reagan won twice. I don't see that Republican "hard line ideas" aren't what the American people want. They just bought a vague bunch of "chicken in your pot" platitudes. Now that most have seen the destructive folly, ("most" not referring to the entitlement black subculture)... I look for the pendulum to swing back again the American direction. The left's "hard line ideas" have sucked, backfired, been found out to be fraudulent, counter-productive, etc.

calfoxwc
Probably. But Rice is also tied to the Bush admin, and the unions would org against the Wisc gov fast and furiously.
