In other words, it tells how long each area has been waiting for a title. The Gipper Posted February 8, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2016 The only city that has really "moved on up" lately was Kansas City when the Royals won the World Series a few months ago. They had been holding since 1985. Before that Seattle moved up with the Seahawks title. They had gone since 1979... but, of course, it is still those stuck in the 60s: Cleveland/Buffalo/San Diego not to mention the hockey only Canadian cities. These cities had their chances. Of course we know about the Cavs...and the 1997 Indians, two outs away. Buffalo, a missed FG away. SD has never really come that close. Vancouver had a 3-2 lead in the NHL finals and blew it a few years ago. Can the Cavs do the deed? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
