The Gipper
Now that the World Series for 2016 was completed here is the standings for the Team of the Decade Title. For those who don't know my system which I use in all 4 major sports: A team gets 10 points for winning a title, 6 points for losing a title game/series, 3 points for losing a semifinals game/series, 1 point for making the playoffs. Here are the current standings. The numbers represent the points scored in any particular year. Then the accumulated points for the entire decade are listed at the end Giants: 10, 10, 10, 1 for 31 points Cardinals: 10, 3, 6, 3, 1 for 23 points Royals: 6, 10 for 16 points Rangers: 6, 6, 1, 1 for 14 points Cubs 3, 10 for 13 points Tigers: 3, 6, 3,1 for 13 points Red Sox: 10, 1 for 11 pts Yankees: 3,1,3, 1 for 8 pts Dodgers: 3, 1, 1, 3 for 8 points Indians: 1, 6 for 7 pts Mets 6, 1 for 7 pts Blue Jays 3, 3 for 6 points Orioles: 1, 3, 1 for 5 pts Phillies: 3, 1 for 4 points Rays: 1,1,1 for 3 pts.
