I'm pretty sure this was done during the proclamation so it's a moot point, I just think that FOX dude has zero idea what he's talking about. He was the one that brought up the admin might apologize, OMG OMG, for slavery. I could take the time to go back and read the emancipation but unless someone knows otherwise that an apology wasn't in there, than i'm not gonna bother. WSS You people seem to have this idea that if our govt apologized for slavery that somehow it makes present day people personally accountable for something that happened before their time. It's symbolic, but it's important enough for a society to do it because it says "this shit ain't happening again". And anybody that resists that, imo, is potentially someone that says hey we don't know what the future will bring..maybe we'll need slaves again in the future.
