Sympathy for the Devil

Okay, I can't stand Hillary Clinton. Really I'm glad for anything the damages her chances for being the president of the United States. Butt in all honesty I think this email server scandal is, like so many scandals in American politics, a chickenshit charge. Yes, I believe she broke the rules, yes I think she did it knowingly. What I would really have to see before it bothered me a whole lot is a pattern that shows that she did so in order to cover something illegal up Kama which easily could be the case. If she was using her own server in order to avoid people finding out about illegal campaign contributions or payoffs or shit like that... I don't know if that can be proven.

Of course like I said so many scandals are chicken shit in my opinion and both sides have been damaged buy meaningless stuff. So sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander, regardless of who commits the fowl play. ;)

But if it brings her down? Cool. If it means we have President Joe Biden? Well, better than Hillary I suppose. Only because I think he'd have a better chance against Donald Trump then she will.

And I believe there are plenty of party regulars praying for that to happen.

It's election time. People like to blow a load of things out of proportion, and intentionally/unintentionally shift focus away from actual policies.

Bernie basically said the same thing though, at the start of the election cycle, saying 'I'm sick of hearing about it, let's talk about actual issues' and got criticised for not stepping on the throat...which is kinda the point of his campaign.

Yes, but from a political standpoint John McCain got blasted for not going for the throat and his campaign against Barack Obama.

I figure Bernie has such a distinct message he felt he didn't have to go there. And he probably doesn't.

But I agree with you. Also, talking about details of policies always leaves the door open for bad things to happen.

Some of her emails revealed some stuff - like how "we know it wasn't a video" and such.

She had TS classified information on there, which is a crime no matter how you slice it. The fact that the server has been hacked (and/or attempted to have been hacked without reporting it) is even worse.

I think it's funny. The Clintons Have gotten away with so much in front of our eyes it makes me wonder what we don't know. Bill should've taken his legacy and retired instead of having Hillary fuck it all up.

If Hillary debates Trump there are so many things he can attack her on it would be next to impossible for her to prepare which angle Trump would be going. I want to see it and Trump wants a debate.

Right...

So it should be ignored?

This indictment of Hillary is coming from the State Department, not just people blowing things out of proportion like you leftists always do.

Something tells me "they" want Hillary out, otherwise this email scandal would have been swept under the rug like the IRS scandal and Benghazi have.

The state dept has sandbagged investigating higgardly the terrible Early on, a report is, that a

major IT figure went to his boss, in the State Dept, and said he was concerned about higgardly's use

of the unsecured private server, etc.

He was told in no uncertain terms to never bring it up again. You can break any law you want, if you're

a liberal and liberals are in charge.

It isn't a chickenshit charge, though. Being in the military - the handling of information is serious business.

The replacement schedule of bearings on a plane... classified. The list is very, very long. For a while,

I worked in our Air Force base post office. I'm behind the counter one day, all by myself... and a pilot,

captain came in and dropped off some stuff to mail back home. When he left, I was putting the packages

where they needed to go, and at the bottom of the stuff, was a blue folder marked "Classified".

So, I put it under the counter and waited, and several minutes later, he was running down the hall,

and a minute later, ran back up the hall and came into the post office. He was really worried, white as

he could be. He started

to ask about a blue folder, and I nodded and got it and gave it to him. The sigh of relief - this guy was scared.

I quietly told him "it never happened", and he said "Thanks for having my back, airman, seriously".

All this talk about higgardly and her private unsecured server - hundreds and hundreds of classified documents -

that is serious business. The USMJ stipulates serious punishment over deliberately mishandling of classified information.

For two years, I maintained our library of USMJ, AF regs, and Base regs. You don't mess with military law.

During WWII - wasn't it? "loose lips sink ships" ? Even unclassified information can be used to find out

classified information. "Other people did it" doesn't mean anything.

I don't believe anybody ever had their own server, and got 85 million dollars from the Saudis for their Foundation,

and made questionable decisions while Secretary of State.

That is ILLEGAL.

See what happens when you break party lines steve? RINOs for life!

The fact that the state department came out and has said she failed to report several hacking attempts among many other problems the other day is not a good thing.

She's running for president while the state department is shredding her a part and the FBI is seemingly close to recommending indictment.

And theres clear evidence she knew of those attempts? Its not like a hacker flashes a pop up on ur screen that says so sorry ill only be a minute love

When you're putting TS information on a private server somebody should know about that shit.

Monitoring network traffic is standard practice. You know who knocks on the door just like you know who's in the room. When they're saying hacking attempts they're likely looking at logs of who's attempted to connect to the network (that isn't recognized).Via mac addresses, IP, whatever.

If I tried to get into your computer you would know about it even if I didn't get in, which is why people usually hide behind VPNs or something when they're trying to pry in somewhere.

Ed, hackers...especially the ones who would go after the secretary of states server.....would hide their attempt and hide it well. Not only would these guys get into your pc theyd make it run faster and clean up other shit that shouldnt be there while they wait for your shit to download to their shit. And you'd never know. They could do it while you sat at your pc jerking off to porn. Watch you through the webcam too. Thats not a joke they actually do that shit

Yea but you can still tell when somebody has attempted to connect - that doesn't mean you know who it is, but you know somebody at least tried and what kind of activity is going on in the network (You would know if mac address XX:XX:XX:XX:Blah was assigned an IP by your router/DHCP server/whatever - which means they got in. You would know if XX:XX:XXX was denied by your router/DHCP server/SSH whatever, you'd be able to see what activity is happening)

Maybe you don't catch it as it happens, but it's easy as hell to see after the fact that there were 500 attempts to connect from this IP or whatever - hence the reason the state department is to say "there were many hacking attempts that were not disclosed"

Sure, pro hacking jobs on super-secure networks they'll try to blend in, spoof a mac address that is trusted and pull some SSL gymnastics or whatever to make it so it seems like "normal activity". But the clinton private server likely didn't have any advanced real-time monitoring or crazy shit like that so all the attempted hackers cared about was hiding themselves, not their activity which would likely have gone un-noticed indefinitely had it not been for the gov't looking into all of that.

Even if is a chickenshit charge, you never have sympathy for the devil... instead you take advantage of it in order to bring down the devil.

What exactly is a cock midget? A regular sized guy with a very small penis? A very small person shaped like a penis? A plucky but undersized fighting chicken who manages to overcome his physical limitations on the way to winning the Domino's International Cockfighting Knock-out Tournament?

It's not a chickenshit charge. Ask any military person that dealt with classified or "secret" documents what would happen if they lost just one page out of a manual in a library under their watch.

The FBI guy in charge is known to be very, very non partisan so if he's looked this far you bet your ass there is a good reason.

It's a very big deal, and shows a blatant disregard for rules and regulations, and another reason why Hillary is unfit.
