I was hoping to see Jordan Westerkamp on the list. The kid has the best hands I've ever seen. No hyperbole. He's had Tommy Brainweak throwing to him for four years, so he had to catch everything that touched his hands because who knew when the next pass would be within arms reach.

don't know if this has been posted already.... but the Browns have a second year of having draft criteria

that includes

*FOOTBALL PLAYER*, that extends to their UDFA's.

A few guys put up some pretty good numbers.

Sgt Schult(z) had 35.5 sacks...but he's a 258 lb DLineman.

Gonna be tough for the TE to make the team. He averaged less than 1 catch per game in college......and they already released Barnidge. (he better be one helluva blocker)

The DB's should feel as though they could stick if they work hard...especially Jabrill's buddy.

Today is the day free agents can be signed without affecting compensatory pick formula

We expecting any more additions? I saw somewhere predict us to sign Sio Moore a LB who was with the Falcons last year

I have said that I am in favor of adding an OLB. So this guy could fit the bill. Only thing: Why has he been signed and released by 4 different teams in the last 4 years?

Oakland Raiders[edit]

Moore was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the third round, with the 66th overall pick, of the 2013 NFL Draft. On October 27, 2013, Moore picked up 2 sacks and 5 tackles in a 21-18 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Indianapolis Colts[edit]

On September 4, 2015, Moore was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for sixth round pick in the 2016 NFL draft.[6] He was released by the Colts on October 4, 2016.[7]

Kansas City Chiefs[edit]

Moore was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs on October 7, 2016.[8] On November 1, 2016, he was released by the Chiefs.[9]

Arizona Cardinals[edit]

On November 22, 2016, Moore was signed by the Arizona Cardinals.[10]

Became a free agent at the end of the 2016 season

Has this guy had injuries?

If he practices well this week maybe we can bring him up and rid ourselves of Brittany Brittlehands.

I fear he is here to stay.....at least for this season......They did sign him for 4 years(yes, it's true)....Now, will they eat 3 years, pay him $17 million for this season and admit it was a bad signing?.......hmmmm, just dont see them doing that.....but, then again, Asspiler.....

FFS...

Did we pay Britt #1 WR money? No... probably because he's not a #1... but for now he has to be.

Did he play poorly Weeks 1 and 2? Yes... Was he better in Week 3? Yes, he was. Can he get even better yet? Sure... as in I sure hope so...

Who did he replace? The guy we "let get away"? How's he doing?

Now...to me.....ANY receiver below 50% shouldnt be playing, let alone on the roster......Britt is at 33%.....(which is not bad, it's pathetic).....and last week was his lowest yet, but somehow it was an improvement?.......dont see it.....

Im in no way pining for Pryor, but his numbers are better than Britts......a much higher catch percentage, more total yards and more yards per catch....so, if Pryors #'s suck, where does that leave Britt?......

Well...this brings up a curious question to my mind.....just because a guy has a poor catch to target ratio...as you show for Britt.....can you really put all that on Britt?   I think it is combination.  Clearly Britt  dropped and alligator armed a few passes.  But there were also a number thrown to him that were just not on target.  Plus, honestly, on a couple of plays I saw where the DB just did a very good job of breaking up the pass.   You have to share the "blame" I think on all three of these factor.

Yes you can....of course every incomplete is NOT the receivers fault.....but all the receivers are catching from the same guy in the same conditions.....most good receivers are over 60%(not all).....last year it was Coleman, with a pathetic 44%, that was the only Brown under 50%.......this year there are 3 below 50%....Louis(who drops more than his share) is at 45%....Coleman was at 46%.....You have Higgins at 53%.....Devalve at 59%.....Njoku at 70%......and then Britt at 33%.....He stands out as "extra" bad, while Louis and Coleman just look bad.......

Look....last year we had ONE guy under 50% and had a terrible offense......THIS year we have 3.......and one is so low....so so low...

Most teams and just about every single quarterback in the league complete passes at a rate of 50% or better(heck, most are over 60%) ....so when you have a guy who only combines with the QB to complete 33%, then the #'s indicate that is a very LOW percentage play and will not be a reliable go to situation......why call plays that only succeed 33% of the time, when you KNOW you need to succeed at 60% or better......thats terrible math......

Btw.....with the Browns....in his one season(and few games) here.....Dwayne Bowe was at 38%.....

Yup... not great... neither the math nor the stats. But sample size is still very small.

Britt in 2016 with the Rams... 111 targets... 68 receptions... 5 drops...

Britt's 2017 Catchable Target Rate: 40%... 6 of 15 throws targeting Britt have been "catchable".

I apologize for quoting in disagreement with you....but I don't believe it to be the 'same conditions'.   Britt would more often be covered by the better CB.
