I agree with Levin here if those puke Iranian midget boats wanted to provoke a fight with our destroyer we should have blown them out of the water. This is our country today under Obama. Weak and not trusted by our friends nor feared or respected by our enemies. It’s being reported that four Iranian speedboats harassed a US Navy destroyer today, almost provoking an incident: REUTERS – Four vessels from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) “harassed” a U.S. destroyer on Tuesday by carrying out a “high speed intercept” in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz, a U.S. defense official said on Wednesday. The official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said two of the Iranian vessels came within 300 yards of the USS Nitze in an incident that was “unsafe and unprofessional.” “The Iranian high rate of closure…created a dangerous, harassing situation that could have led to further escalation including additional defensive measures by Nitze,” the official said. The IRGC, the Islamic Republic’s praetorian guard, is suspicious of U.S. military activity near Iran’s borders. I am sure our navy would squash them like a bug and they know it. Hell, the Iranian navy knows it. Ever dealt with someone who is so stupid that you know if you fight them, that you will have to beat them to death. I have on several occasions. People can easily whip the hell out of them but they know that the guy is too stupid and you will have to stomp the guy out.
