Some guy who liked him named the mountain after him, that's it. It was called Denali for centuries. I can understand naming a mountain of someone who discovered it. In any case, Obama's letting oil companies drill in Alaska so this is just a meaningless gesture on his part to a people he potentially royally fucked over if these oil companies maintain the same operating standards they maintain everywhere else.
