Dang I'm good! I just did my first run through and ended at 52! Paztor or one of the RBs can stay.

Who makes it?

QB- Griffin, McCown, Kessler, Davis, Shaw

Prediction - we only carry 2 QBs; McCown will either be traded or cut at the 53.

RB- Crowell, D.Johnson, Winston, Mostert, Watson

Winston was Farmer's pet RB, this regime has no attachment to him; Mostert stays for return game

WR- Hartline, Hawkins, Gabriel, Pryor, C.Coleman, Higgins, Louis, Payton, Jennings, Moore, Hall, (Gordon)

Pryor is in as the third QB option (having experienced Hue's system in OAK and Cinci). If Gordon is returned from the abyss, he takes the place of Hartline.

TE- Barnidge, Bibbs, Telfer, Hamlett, Holtz

Difficult to guess, and probably these guys are merged with the below, and you pick any two behind Barnidge.

FB/H-Back- DeValve, M.Johnson, Skov

OT- Thomas, Bowie, Bailey, S.Coleman, Drango, France, Ladson, Miller

OG- Bitonio, Greco, Pasztor, Gerhart K.Johnson, Boffeli

C- Erving, Matthews

Drango projects inside; Bailey is a swing tackle backup; Pasztor gives extra insurance at RT in a pinch; Matthews is possibly odd man out in numbers game. Starting OL: JT, Bitonio, Erving, Greco, Coleman

Who's Johnson?

DT- Shelton, Meder, Hughes, Lawrence-Stample, Rose

We'll keep those three - maybe Hughes goes; the two UDFAs, who knows what'll happen.

DE- D.Bryant, Cooper, Wynn, Nassib

Hughes probably ends up as an end here

OLB- Kruger, Orchard, Mingo, A.Bryant, Ogbah, C.Johnson

Who's Johnson?

ILB- Davis, Kirksey, Jeffcoat, Carder, Tuggle, Schobert, Wright, Alexander

Davis and Kirksey to start, Tuggle and Scoobs to back up, and schobert to swing from inside to out.

CB- Haden, T.Williams, K.Williams, Desir, Gilbert, Gaines, Taylor, Caldwell, Jones, Baker, Scott, Dennis, Everette

This group is largely the same as last year.

S- Campbell, Moore, Poyer, Kindred, Stamps, Howard

Pryor or Moore will be an interesting battle at FS. I have high hopes for Campbell at SS.

LS- Hughlett

K- Coons, Craddock

Don' know, but you have Ogbah listed as an OLB.....I think he will be a DE

And you have Schobert as an ILB.....I thought he played mostly on the outside.

Went through this with Zombo, Ogbah will be an OLB in a 3-4.

http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2016/05/09/cardinals-were-close-landing-ex-arizona-linebacker-scooby-wright/84138548/

How close were the Cardinals to adding former Arizona standout linebacker Scooby Wright to their roster?

Oh so close.

There were 253 picks in the 2016 NFL draft. Wright was No. 250 selected by Cleveland.

Just minutes before the pick, Cardinals coach Bruce Arians was having a conversation with Wright.

“Scooby’s a great blitzer, and I actually had Scooby on the phone, begging him to come with us as a free agent because I think he has something special about him, and the Browns drafted him,” Arians said recently during promotions for the second annual Arians Family Foundation Fundraiser at Steak 44.

When Wright got the call from the Browns, he started crying, ran into the backyard of his father’s Santa Rosa, Calif., home and took a flying leap, over a fence and head-first into a pool.

The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reported that Wright was “about to call the Arizona Cardinals and tell them he would accept their free agent offer, almost certain he would go undrafted.”

So close.

Even though Arizona is my birthplace, the Browns are my home. I'm glad we got Scooby, they got Tyrann a couple years ago, a player I was begging us to get... and we got leon McFadden?

Hard to read the posts where you don't include who didn't make it, FYI.

Is Jeffcoat really an inside guy now or am I correct that that's a mistake?

I have no idea whether Matthews can play guard or not. Knowing that makes those decisions a little easier.

Hes OLB. I will fix the OP.

Ogbah will be a OLB project, but Nassib will likely gain weight and play end.

Schobert projects as a versatile OLB/ILB which will make him very valuable

Why all the love for UDFA Matthews? Other than the obvious love for the family ties, we drafted 14 guys... That doesnt leave much room for an undrafted player... Just sayin...

Good stuff so far... Wayyyy to early for any of us to even have a clue... About any position, except maybe our punter...

Matthews was first team All-SEC on PFF grades last year, ahead of even Ryan Kelly, and that was under a position coach so bad he was fired after one year.

He also came from an offense that didn't suit his lack of length because we (A&M) use big splits so he's blocking a lot of guys by himself. There's also shorter DTs in college and believe it or not, shorter DTs expose a center's lack of length more than taller ones. As a down blocker and/or double teamer, Matthews is much better. That's what he'll be doing in our (Browns) offense.

For comparison, Patrick Lewis was our last center. He was also 6'1-2", like Mike. He struggled quite a bit with SEC DTs in Sumlin's first year which was Lewis' last year. He too went undrafted but is now a starting center in the NFL.

Plus the jury is definitely out on Erving.

Thinking we slip him on the IR for a year and redshirt him, and then next year he is unchained.

Zombo

exactly why I stuck with Pasztor on roster this season. Of course, till after next season, when Pasztor will be also unchained as a FA again.

Drango's hurt?

Drango is a 330 pounder that had back surgery for a rupture disk in 2013. never a good thing for a follow the fat man OL man.
