We failed to get a single Ohio State player going on ten years and we passed on what we need best a RB zeke will be a game changer in the NFL and then we passed on a franchise QB lynch and we picked a shrimp in a NO D conference so here we go again repeating shit and being dumb for getting one shot pick and losing mybe a good one

See yall next year after we fire everyone again

the buckeyes got 12 drafted three first round five in round three 12 overall...........the Browns kept there record clean drafting crap and not a buckeye for ten years............makes sense for a LOSER

Doesn't matter, as we got a USC and UCLA player............... That's all that should matter to anyone.

What does drafting OSU players have to do with winning the NFL? I mean I guess we should have kept Robiskie if that was the key....who knew.

Im not about drafting Buckeyes for the sake of Buckeyes. Would I love to see some more hometown boys on this team? Yes.

Do I feel we passed up on Perry and Cash when they had great value in the 4th? - I do.

I don't want the front office to ignore local talent that is usually NFL caliber, but believe it or not there are players from other schools that can ball.

So Cincinnati won't do it for you either. Move from your Far Far planet to maybe Dallas or SD. Added Home State pressure's & being young & looking forward to possible another state than Ohio maybe the best.. Na Nu.. Na Nu..

The only homer OSU player I would have wanted is Braxton Miller. If he gets coached up, and developes, he will be a nightmare for the AFC South opposing teams for years to come.

meanwhile the perennial winners in our division always draft from OSU....

"is there anybody in there?"

Santonio Holmes - won the Steelers a Super Bowl.

Ryan Shazier - a starter that has made an impact.

Cameron Heyward - took time to develop now a quality player.

Mike Adams - Eh.

So, Richie, why show up to complain? You never do the mock drafts to show

what you WOULD have done before the fact.

Man up, dang it, and stick around, quit bein such an opportunistic drive-by'er with bitchies to vent. B)

The top end OSU players this draft wouldn't have helped us as much as extra picks. That's nothing against those players.

Later rounds, I'm surprised we didn't take one. Even Braxton, if you're looking to try a bunch of WRs.

We still have Pryor though...

Side note: the Raves drafted one Michigan guy, and picked up three more as UDFAs. John is using Jim's program as a minor league team.

On the local team aspect, the Lions drafted two Michigan players.

Hi there Rich, glad to see you make an appearance. FWIW, I wanted Zeke and Cardale. The trade down eliminated Elliot- but hey, we picked up a couple supposedly stud DL.

Had your head under a rock Rich? We lost Mack and Schwartz to free agency- is your idea of finding OL guys walking through the Muni Lot tailgate, and asking big guys if they ever played football? Damn, the Eagles gifted us a bunch of picks to take a guy from North Dakota State. LOL, I suppose we shouldn't have taken that running back from Syracuse- Jim Brown. Um Brett Favre went to Southern Mississippi. Too bad we passed on that guy from Purdue- Drew Brees.

Craig Powell anyone? Though not drafted by the Browns, I can add Vernon Gholston, Dan Wilkinson, and Troy Smith to the bust list off the top of my head Gip. The entire OSU drafted players list as of last year wasn't too hard to find. Some studs, some bums- as is the case with ANY college. :):):)

The question was what Ohio State players have the Browns drafted the past 10 years.

The Browns have drafted only 2 OSU players since 1999:

Darnell Sanders TE 2002

Brian Robiskie WR 2009

Nah- Rich was inferring how damn great a guy is just because he played for Ohio State. Saw this on the Browns website:

"While the Browns passed on taking members of the Scarlet and Gray, don’t conflate that with a lack of appreciation or respect for what Urban Meyer and Ohio State have done in recent years.

“We like a lot of those guys. A lot of them,” Brown said. “ A lot of them were very high on our board.”

You wanted us to take a HB at #2....?

No, I'll clarify. If we had stayed at #2, I would have taken Wentz, assuming the Rams had taken Goff. I was only interested in Zeke when we dropped down to #8. When we dropped down again, it was BPA.

I do think Elliott is going to be an absolute stud, assuming he can stay healthy.
