cause your guy and his people are totally normal right?

Fuck yea

Gary Johnson supports the TPP and is a giant douche. Third party candidates historically poll higher than what they get votes though.

He's better than Jill Stein though, but Gary Johnson is no Ron Paul that's for sure.

Srsly.

Gary Johnson is a wacko

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the debates, but I hate that the third party candidates are so fringe

I mean, you're giving me a choice between a wacko, a loudmouth, and a corrupt shill. Not really many options to go around.

I guarantee the establishment rewrites the rules to prevent it if Gary hits threshold.

Oh, you know they're going to try to, but I think the cat is out of the bag on how corruptly-ran the Commission for Presidential Debates really is, and people are taking notice.

The concept of things like executive orders and a presidential election not being tied to senate/congress/legislative elections make it basically impossible for a third party to have a credible chance as there's no such thing as a minority or coalition government.

Those who love a free-for-all should probably favor a 4 party contest rather than 3. You could have a center-right comma Center left and a hard right and left.

With a 3 Party you're almost guaranteed that the majority will be unhappy.

WSS

three would be better than two, but four would be better still. I mean, there's a functional limit on how many relevant parties you can have - a hundred parties with different policies and one percent of the vote each is kinda pointless. But as I said, the system of a president who can circumvent the will of the democratically elected legislatures is not one that lends itself to compromise and collaboration.

in this election, anybody here could poll 13 percent,

except for the woodpecker - he wouldn't muster

a 1 percent. They don't vote.

You know Cal, if you really want to slob Woody's knob that badly, all you'd probably have to do is ask him. The whole "insult woody to disguise my true feelings for him" motif that you do in nearly every thread is getting a bit worn out. Most people quit that shit in elementary school, dawg.
