mjp28
Yet, KC is still hanging on their tail. KC is going through their hot streak but IF the Tribe bats + starting pitching continue to be strong they can outrun them. The Twinkies are in a similar position and we'll see what happens coming up to the trade deadline.

The Gipper
What would be nice would be if the Tribe pounded the RS and Yankees in those games...and allowed the TB Rays....who are only 2.5 games out of first place, to take over the east. And then have the Royals make a WC spot and kick one of them out altogether. As, if the season ended today you would have, in the playoffs: ALE: Red Sox ALC: Indians ALW: Astros WCs: Yankees and Royal, Rays only a half game back in the WC race. mjp28
CHICAGO -- Josh Tomlin was cruising. He had a 1-0 lead and four no-hit innings in the book when he took the mound to start the fifth on Sunday against the White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. But something went wrong during Tomlin's warm ups and he left the game with James Quinlan, the team's head athletic trainer. It was announced in the seventh inning that Tomlin left the game with a tight left hamstring. Nick Goody replaced him...... (With 6 starters no big deal, right?)
