Browns at Bungholes and our 1st win

Funny, I was thinking the same thing.

The Browns always seem to win a game they're not supposed to every season, and Cincy is struggling.

Our DBs play well, Browns win.

Seriously? You expect that to happen? Joe Haden in prime could handle AJ Green....but he is hurting.

Hard to say I expect it to happen, but it may happen. The key to the game in my opinion is our DBs (maybe every game in '16).

This is a game Cincy has to have in order to get back in contention in the AFC North. Hue knows their tendencies, so I do expect a close, low scoring game.

If this were being played in cleveland, I'd almost be confident of a win. We're due a win soon, and usually split with the bengals.

Now, the fun part - the bengals have been *bad* this year. They're 2-4, with their wins coming over the 2-4 dolphins and 1-5 jets. They're averaging fewer points per game than the browns, and that's *with* Andy Dalton playing every game this year, and AJ Green still being AJ Green.

The less fun part is that those four losses have come against the Steelers, Broncos, Cowboys and Patriots, four teams likely to be in the playoffs.

So, while these aren't the bengals of the last couple of years (wonder what's changed....*hue jackson*), they're still probably going to win on Sunday unfortunately. There are just too many injuries (and recovery by Erving) for us to overcome I'm afraid - especially if Pryor and Haden, neither of whom had practiced this week (not sure about today), are out on Sunday.

Our best shot???....I thought that was the Eagles....then the Skins......then the Titans.....

This series has never really favored the home team. Our HC does know this opponent pretty good. Plus we saw the Cav's hoist a trophy, then the Tribe hoists the AL pennant. And it is still Marv and the bungholes. We can win this one for real.

They're HC sucks and always has. If we win, I think he goes the way of leather helmet

See below, I'll give you the pulse of Southern Ohio, living in Bungle territory.

Why? Are they in a hurry to shitcan Marv? Or is burfict gonna suck Goodells cock at the 50 yd line. Even the Stools call em dirty. Now that's bad!

The majority of Bungle fans have wanted Starvin' Marvin gone for years. Mike Brown, not so much. Losing to the Browns at home would be one of the final (not the last though) nails in Lewis' coffin. The Queen City Kitties go um, say 8-8 or so it's adios.

Regarding Stompin' Burfict- Goodell and the League office have their eagle eyes on every out of line move Vontaze makes. If you didn't know, he was suspended for the first four games, and just drew another $75,000 fine for being a bad little football player. :)

The Bungles went through about a dozen losing seasons before hiring Lewis who turned the club around. His teams can't get past the first round in the playoffs but there is something to be said for a coach who consistently gets his team into the play offs. I hope the Bungles do let him go and they go through another 12 years of losing seasons. How quickly they forget.

Lewis is a good coach. Hopefully Hue turns out to be good enough to keep around 12 years or however many seasons Lewis has been there. He reminds me of Schottenheimer. He gets the most out of his team every year, but they don't have World Championship talent, so that's the coach's fault.

From reading in the summer, the plan *was* for Marv to carry on a few more years, then move upstairs to a personnel role, and Hue to take over, but Hue got itchy feet waiting for Marv to retire.

Why wait around to coach the pretend Browns when you can coach the real ones?

I will say today ... At 0-6 .. that Hue is Easily going to be our best decision, player or coach, since 1999.

Marvin will probably get moved to a management position, general management type role - if Mike Brown allows it.

We'll see. Supposedly his daughter Katie Blackburn is pretty much running the show now.

Interesting parallel in Marty... our HC who had the rep of failing in the playoffs.

Cinci has had its share of talent under Marv. Let some slip away this off-season especially at WR... not to mention an OC change. The weird thing is what is going on team discipline wise.

Discipline was severely lacking when he came into the job and it persisted for a couple seasons. Then after settling down it's made a big comeback the past two years and now is being enabled. Marv officially saw nothing wrong with Burfict's shot at Bennett's knee this past Sunday.

Understand.....Pisstown without BR is half of what they were. They could lose the next 3-4 games before they play the Browns.

Baltimore, imo, really is NOT all that. Both Cincy and Pitt (with BR) are better.

I said only 1 AFCN team will make the playoffs. I pretty much stick to that.

Well one man's opinion Friday version. ......

.......The Bengals came off their bye week and ran into a pair of buzz saws: Dallas and New England, on the road. Those teams are each 5-1. Theyve combined for 10 wins. Dallas one loss was by 1 point, and New Englands only loss came when they had to start a rookie QB with a broken thumb. Oh, and Cincinnatis other two losses were against first-place teams Denver and Pittsburgh.

Killer schedule!

The Cleveland Browns are 0-6. For Cincinnati, this is a major class drop and a return to their home field. That makes it kill time, step on the gas, dont stop until the final gun goes off......

SO it comes down to one thing "do you feel lucky punk, well do ya'?".....

......OK so maybe that was Dirty Harry but do you feel lucky this week? How about with 10 points? CLE +10, he'll yeah why not!

Our best remaining shot. Fixed it.

I divided the season into season 1 and season 2. I expected nothing in season one other than a ton of rookies trying to find their way into the starting lineup. Season 2 starts with the Cowboys. I expect to get a lot more competitive for those games. We shall see.

I hate Marvin and his Thuggeries! But the Browns have the worst defense I've ever seen! How's Justin Gilbert doing in Pittsburg? Ugh!

Dalton will light it up against the most befuddled bunch of losers in the league. If Tyler Eifert plays and is 100% then add two more touchdowns to the final score!

Hue Jackson has abandoned the run game and you can say goodbye to Crowell for the rest of the season. The Bengals know this of course and will shut down Kessler as he checks down to Duke Johnson because Pryor is questionable. No Pryor, no run game no defence no win this week!

Bengals 31

Browns 10

GO TRIBE
