Maybe if it hits 40 tomorrow, I can finally get the big barn door open.

I believe this was covered a few times in past threads.

 

 

First of all: The same can’t be said for Arctic sea ice coverage. The Chinese study noticed that for the Arctic “both climatology and linear trend are better reproduced.” Climate models anticipated Arctic sea ice extent and volume would reduce as the world warmed, which it has.

 

Also, it is known that the southern sea ice has been growing in area. Many factors are at play, including increased precipitation. Also, the sea itself has warmed over this time
