Round 1 (12): DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville

Love this pick, wanted to go this route, but I wanted Shelton.

Round 1 (19): Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida State

Sometimes I wonder if Goldman will be there at 19. Good pick, though.

Round 2 (43): Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami

Love the pick, but figured he'd go before the second round, or for sure

before the Browns pick in the second round.

Round 3 (77): Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State

Like the pick. He's quite a player.

Round 4 (111): Tyrus Thompson, OT, Oklahoma

Don't like it, unless you put him at OG, and even then,

not sure if his temperament is what I'd want on the oline.

Round 4 (115): Za'Darius Smith, DE, Kentucky

Only if you think he'd be a kickass ILB.... he isn't a DE in a 3-4.

Round 5 (147): Ben Koyack, TE, Notre Dame

Nice pick for the fifth. Like the Ohio State te better.

Round 6 (189): Darryl Roberts, CB, Marshall

I didn't look at cb's...but this kid may go higher. An awesome pick even higher.

Round 6 (202): Darren Waller, WR, Georgia Tech

Terrific pick if he becomes what he could be...no loss if he busts.

Round 7 (229): J.R. Tavai, OLB, USC

Eh... ILB? doesn't matter in the 7th...

I'd give this draft a B

Its kind of a lemonade draft(if you get lemons, then gotta make lemonade...).....one of those drafts I dont like because all my top 8 faves are gone at #12 and we fall into that "no mans land" thats been mentioned before.........(trade time)

I do see some good stuff, but really cant get with WR at #12.....or Goldman at 19, with Brown and Ray still on the board......or Thompson & Smith in the 4th, with guys like Heuerman still on the board.....

Wow... Hard to express how much I hate the OP draft.

Vast improvement, Mud, but our O-line is only slightly better off with Finney over Thompson... which bottom line means that it was not helped.

Taking Orchard on top of Ray seems a little luxurious to me. My guy, Marpet was still there, so you'd know where I'd go.

That frees up pick 4a, but what to do with it is not immediately obvious.

Ha!.....I knew youd be in there with the Marpet thought and its valid.....and I knew because I thought long and hard about taking him myself.....almost did it over Smith in the second....then again with Orchard in the 3rd.....was a weird draft and never with anyone you REALLY want available...

In the end....when unsure....I always go defense....hence, nate
