Anyone care to answer?

Sure, for the Browns of course:

1. Are you satisfied with your teams performance last season?

Well, obviously, fuck no

2. After your favorite teams games, are you happy, ticked or indifferent?

Stupid question...it depends if they win, lose or tie

3. When you watch your team play, is it “rewarding” as a fan?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

4. When you look over the past 5 years, has it been “fun” following your team?

5. When you look over the past 15 year, has it been “fun” following your team?

Yes, even if they are shit...which they have been, it is still fun. It would be more fun if they win.

6. Each team has “signature” moments on the field, how long ago what your teams last “signature” performance?

Not sure what counts as a signature moment. I could say kicking the shit out of the Steelers last year....making the biggest road comeback in NFL history....or I could say "nothing since 1964".

7. Iconic football players define a team. When did your team last have an “iconic” player? Did you ever see that player play in person?

Probably when Bernie Kosar played. Yes, I saw him a couple of times.

8. Can you (in all good faith) make a claim that your team is a top 10 team in the league for overall success over the past 10 years? 20 years? 30 years?

Obviously fuck no.

9. When was the last time you invited friends over to watch your team in a playoff game?

Well....I go to a friends house...and it was 2002

10. When was the last time you hosted a playoff/Super Bowl party and your team won?

Don't know if I ever have.

11. Are you a fan of your team due to living in that town/area, brainwashed as a child, family in that town/area, due to the teams success?

That is pretty much right. When I was a kid between 12-20 my team was in the playoff 8 of those 10 years, won one title, play in one other Championship game....and 2 other "conference" title games,

All pretty much predictable answers.

Anyone care to answer?

1. Are you satisfied with your teams performance last season?

Yes. A new head coach, a first time GM, new offense and defensive schemes along with everything else and we seem to be headed in the right direction.

2. After your favorite teams games, are you happy, ticked or indifferent?

... mmm, I'd say either really, really happy or really sad.

3. When you watch your team play, is it “rewarding” as a fan?

Yes, there is always something to feel rewarded about, either fighting hard till the end, a good defensive game or a few heroic moments from our guys.

4. When you look over the past 5 years, has it been “fun” following your team?

Absolutely. Winning isn't everything but we've been damn close for years.

5. When you look over the past 15 year, has it been “fun” following your team?

I've watched the Browns for around 15 years now. I started watching them the first game they returned from the ashes and haven't missed a game in 15 years. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. I love the Browns.

6. Each team has “signature” moments on the field, how long ago what your teams last “signature” performance?

...When was Bottlegate again? - That was awesome, fuck the refs!

7. Iconic football players define a team. When did your team last have an “iconic” player? Did you ever see that player play in person?

The Browns have had several Iconic players, Otto, Brown, Kosar. I never got to see them play in person but more recently I would say our Iconic players would be Joe Thomas and Joe Haden, I've seen them play several times and they are awesome!

8. Can you (in all good faith) make a claim that your team is a top 10 team in the league for overall success over the past 10 years? 20 years? 30 years?

Define success. I would say that after everything they have been through, all the ups but mostly downs that to have the kind of fan support and energy that this team brings to it's fans and it's city that I would say they definitely have their own kind of success. I would say they lead the pack in that category. Neither rain nor sleet nor snow can keep us away and for that we are successful.

9. When was the last time you invited friends over to watch your team in a playoff game?

I invite friends to watch every game, every Sunday at my house, every game is a Superbowl for us!

10. When was the last time you hosted a playoff/Super Bowl party and your team won?

...touché.

11. Are you a fan of your team due to living in that town/area, brainwashed as a child, family in that town/area, due to the teams success?

I was born and raised in Phoenix and was a "fan" of the Cardinals but only in namesake, I really loved the Suns though, that was back in 92. Then I moved to Ohio in 96 to live with my father, that year I started Highschool and heard murmurings of the team being brought back, I learned of the history in the meantime and when they were rebirthed I learned what being a true fan was all about. I love the Browns, next year is NOW!

Seems to be a satisfaction/why are you a fan questionnaire.

Anyone care to answer?

1. Are you satisfied with your teams performance last season?

No, they failed to win the SB

2. After your favorite teams games, are you happy, ticked or indifferent?

Since they win most of the time, then I'm happy most of the time. Stupid question.

3. When you watch your team play, is it “rewarding” as a fan?

When they win its rewarding, when they don't its not. Another stupid question.

There's a possibility that the browns beatdown of the Steelers and Bengals last season was rewarding to browns fans.. duh.

4. When you look over the past 5 years, has it been “fun” following your team?

Yes

5. When you look over the past 15 year, has it been “fun” following your team?

Absolutely

6. Each team has “signature” moments on the field, how long ago what your teams last “signature” performance?

Feb.1, 2009. Defeated Arizona in the Super Bowl...two signature moments in that game, iconic and Ohio born James Harrison rambling down the sidelines99yds. for a pick six, and former Ohio State Buckeye Santonio Holmes catching that tip toe TD pass from Ohio born Ben Roethlisberger on that late game winning drive.

A Signature regular season game that stands out the most for me...Dec 24, 2005. The Christmas Eve Massacre. A 41-0 demolition of the Browns. A statement was made that day to the browns and browns fans and organization...a shut out, the iconic James Harrison slamming a browns fan to the turf, and Larry Foote decking a Browns receiver as time ran out. Wow what a day. Best Christmas Day ever!

7. Iconic football players define a team. When did your team last have an “iconic” player? Did you ever see that player play in person?

Last year. Yes. Had a lot of iconic players though.

8. Can you (in all good faith) make a claim that your team is a top 10 team in the league for overall success over the past 10 years? 20 years? 30 years?

Yes, the most part of 25 yrs.

9. When was the last time you invited friends over to watch your team in a playoff game?

Never, always been invited.

10. When was the last time you hosted a playoff/Super Bowl party and your team won?

Never, always been invited.

11. Are you a fan of your team due to living in that town/area, brainwashed as a child, family in that town/area, due to the teams success?

Grew up there.

Some of these questions have the feel of a Steeler troll on a bengals board asking them .

What do Bengal fans have to be happy about anyway?

What??? Out of all people, I would never expect an old timer like you to forget the two signature browns moments.

The Turkey Jones slam of Bradshaw, and the 55-0 drubbing of the Steelers, at Three Rivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kicking the fuck out of the Steelers was really not that big of a deal when I was growing up. So, no, those were fun, interesting moments....but by no means "signature". Besides, it was only a 51-0 drubbing, not 55.

That's it? Really?

I get the Holmes catch....that would be an iconic moment.

The Harrison run is more renowned for the Cardinals ineptness than anything.

As for the Browns loss....really, a simple regular season game blowout?

Like I said, when I was growing up a typical Browns/ Steelers score was probably something like 42-10 Browns, so I guess a blowout is no big thing to me either way.

I am going to assume that you weren't around to see the Immaculate Reception, or the Lynn Swann catch.

Perhaps as Iconic for the Steelers are the fuckups that other teams had when playing them: Jackie Smith's drop where a catch would have won the game. Dennis Northcutt's drop where a catch would have sealed a Browns playoff win.
