I see Houston has found a spot.

You mean Michigan? Other than Bama Mich. got the only other #1 vote, not Clemson. So no one...in that poll above anyway, chose Clemson.

(maybe in the coaches poll?)

That's right the lone #1 went to "m" in the AP and CLEM in the coaches poll, why does it matter at all? They're weighted votes so it drives your team higher in the total points it might mean a higher overall position in the polls.

Right now it's all just jockeying for positions before the end of the season big votes are in.

OH just think if there were 8 or 16 playoff spots much of this would be moot if you were number 4 or 6 or 9 in the polls. .....novel idea huh.

I don't see how anyone could pick Clemson as the #1 team over Bama

OR Michigan? It's a die hard person with a vote....and maybe a personal agenda to push?

Occasionally you will see some real off the wall ones like Boise State (1) "hey man we're undefeated" (and yeah you might play one tough game a year not 5 or 6 or more).

I see 7-0 Nebraska has been sneaking up playing nobodies and catching one formerly good team in an off year (Oregon). Ditto for 6-0 Baylor with only Ok.St. as a semi-decent opponent played. Either one would be crushed by Bama and most other top 10 teams on that list.

Interesting games this week.....

CLEM -4' at FST

WVU -4 at OKST..... only -4? Should win easily.

BAY -3 at TEX

NW at OHIO ST -23....both OSU & M are 23 point favorites, who covers?

NEB at WISC -8

MICH -23'at MST

WASH -10 at UTAH....WASH doesn't blow this they're closer to a final four.

Oh on the betting lines just FYI.....

Looking for lines from your favorite sportsbook but can't find them on VegasInsider? Maybe the line is on VI!

Many sportsbooks do not have their own in-house bookmaker, and therefore, do not produce their own line, as that can be costly and risky. Instead, those sportsbooks partner with a line originator who creates, publishes and maintains a line for them. In the state of Nevada, the primary line originators are Boyd Gaming, Caesars Entertainment, CG Technology, Lucky's, MGM Resorts, South Point Casino, Stations, Stratosphere, William Hill and Wynn.

There are a few sportsbooks that produce their own independent line, such as Treasure Island, Peppermill, Westgate Superbook, and Jerry's Nugget. All other Nevada sportsbooks use a line from one of the Nevada line originators.

Check the sortable list below to find your favorite sportsbook and see where it's lines are originated from. The odds are, you'll find it listed. And we would like to say Thank You to our regular site visitors who help to keep this list up-to-date! (see list online)

It's kind of rare to see so many top favorites on the road in one week, 5 of 7 here.

I like many of the dogs vs the spread - TEX, MST, UTAH, maybe FST, NEB?

Favorites - WVU big, OSU? I guess like every week we'll see. ....

You like Texas to beat Baylor? Interesting.

Maybe a close cover? Or shock the state of Texas.

Michigan will cover

Yeah MST is miserable this year 1-6 ATS but I think they just might just have their Super Bowl this Saturday and only lose by 21....at home.

Did not play our best game. Wasn't as close as the final score indicated, but we still didn't play great. Luckily our bad game, on the road, against a rival still resulted in a win. Unlike OSU's loss when they played poorly.

Everything was on track for us to go up 34-10 and begin the blowout, but Speight made his one bad read of the game for a pick. That killed the momentum and let them creep back.

Even still haven't seen many m games but a lot of their guys look like ALA guys. Big and strong.

Good day of CFB

About 6 one score games away from it being an all time great day

Boy you've got that right, almost turned into an "upset Saturday Special".

....even my Youngstown State University Penguins got really tested this week while Ohio State was also on, and of course at 8 pm there was that GAME 4, GO TRIBE!
