Flyin J
Bring him home. We need special teams and hes just as good of a wideout as some of these jokes were carrying.

LogicIsForSquares
if he couldn't do it in AZ what makes you think he can pull it off in CLEVE? AZ made him expendable but that doesn't mean he wouldn't offer a boost to Cleveland's WR corp.

so how many WRs will be on the roster going into camp? i would think farmer has plans on drafting one.

The Gipper
What's the price? Nothing....he is a FA. The price would be a roster spot and some money on the cap....but we gotta deal with that anyway. If they are not going to try to develop a returner, then bring in a guy like this. Didn't he have like 2 TDs on returns last year?
The Gipper
He would have to. Â As of right now it is Hawkins, Gabriel, and Benjamin under contract. Benjamin got a bit gun shy and the Browns would not put him out there again. Maybe he will be healed up and ready to go this year.
miktoxic
my point was (and yes i'm an OSU fan) that if he was that good he would've hitched onto a team years ago instead going from team to team. Â we'd be the 5th team. Â don't know what he's got left BUT he is from cleveland........ lol. Â yes we do need a return guy, but didn't we release a vet return guy a couple of years ago only to see him shit the bed on another team? so why sign one? Tour2ma
Bring in Ginn because we are so deep that we can afford a Punt Return Specialist?
ballpeen
No, we don't need to get that guy. I don't give a damn about the Cleveland part. Drew Carey is from Cleveland too. Maybe we could have him bring back some kicks as well? Â I'd put Gilbert returning punts, at least until he made it as a starting corner. Maybe even then. Neon Dion was a pretty good corner who kept returning kicks late in to his career. Â Â Gilbert is a damn fine return man.....use him. Â Â
tiamat63
Couldn't hurt to bring Teddy in during the off season. If he earns his spot throughout camp and pre-season, then its a win-win for the Browns.
gumby73
Panthers want Ginn back badly for the same reasons we have. Ball Security. Jim Leonard Retire?? Draft WR KR PR Tyler Lockett>Ginn Jr. Gilbert's got enough going on at CB for now...
Adoug319
Him and Donte Whitner workout at the same gym as me..  Today in the locker room he was leaving as me and my buddy were just getting there, he said he wants to play for the Browns but "they dont want him". I asked him if he was a free agent he said no he's still with the Cards  I think they should pick him up, our return game was terrible last year
MLD Woody
I guess try it. We'll figure out quickly if he's worth a spot  I don't think there's any need for him though
Westside Steve
Uh I don't know anybody in the Cardinals association but do you suppose they cut him because he was getting too many return yards and they wanted to give the other players an opportunity to contribute to the games? Or some other reason? WSS

I agree, but the question is.....if he is so damn fine, why did they NOT use him last year, when they were desperate for a return man? Did they not trust him? Trust his maturity. And if they wouldn't use him last year, are they or are they not willing to use him this year? Its a head scratcher.
