I guess somebody high up in the liberal admin there is gay?

Tyranny of the left. You don't agree with them... then they'll screw you over, one way or another, if they can,

all in the name of...."tolerance".

wait a sec, the article say's the students voted and approved the ban. That's completely within their rights to do so. It isn't "anti capitalism" either, infact it's a capitalist democracy at work. All of you would vote against a mooslimburger in your locale. But i'll do one better, there's a actually a Russian fast food chain called Rusburger...i'm not shitting it's actually called that I couldn't make that up if I tried. Anyway, I would bet anything that as our relations with Russia get worse, none of you would want a Rusburger near you either. And if you were in a position to actually vote on it? And what if Rusburger was actually on record as saying they don't care for the U.S much, kind of like Chick fil-A is on corporate record as saying their not fond of gays? Still want Rusburger around?

I swear some people around here want a dictatorship.

Its about discretion. Fuck....if I saw two pasty obese overly affectionate straight people making out in chick-fil-a id be just as disgusted, but I certainly wouldn't want big brother to 'save' me from it either.

A. It isn't that the russian place represented russia the country, who is an enemy to us now.

Because of actions.

B. This isn't offense taking in the store, this is belligerent harrassment of a company

who simply doesn't believe in the false gay "marriage" narrative.

C. So, taking the U.'s side of things, means a college can vote and force out any

fast food company that is pro "gay" marriage. So, you shouldn't have to have any

gay org on your campus. And if gays on campus do believe in gay "marriage",

by a vote of students, they should be expelled.

D. ChiK Fila never, ever said they weren't fond of gays. They stood up for REAL MARRIAGE.

And that means the gays who were fighting a greater culture war against the rest of America,

decided that made Chik Fil A an "enemy combatant" and has gone after them like an enemy.

If a conservative college group of students voted out a gay fast food place, you watch all the trash

about "civil rights" and "discrimination" and "rights" explode out of the liberal wonk population.

Either it's freedom to choose, or it isn't. IMHO - the choice doesn't get to be flipflopped based on

political expediency, a long standing innate tool of the left.

That should be in the book of world records for the fastest contradiction ever. You didn't seem to have much trouble making up "mooslimburger".

What I couldn't make up if I tried was inane analogies such as yours.

What the fuck makes you think there would be a "vote" against a "Mooslimburger"? To begin with, a Muslim most likely would not own a "Mooselimburger', being that the name it is mocking and blasphemous.

That restaurant would be owned by a non-Muslim, and the only ones voting to ban it would be some pansy ass liberals and Muslims because the name offends them.

Anyway, I would bet anything that as our relations with Russia get worse, none of you would want a Rusburger near you either.

Wrong moron. Merely by worsening relations, most likely few would patronize it and it would end up closing.

Liberals...jumping from one meaningless "point" or lie to another so you can never nail them.

Chick fil-A is not on corporate record for not being fond of gays, they serve them and they hire them...they are on record for opposing gay marriage. You "bright" people seem to have such a difficult time recognizing the difference.

Lastly your analogy is apples and oranges. You are assuming that human reactions toward social issues and foreign affairs are identical.

1) Chik fil a has fantastic food

2) I'm amazed student governments have any real power. The voting turnout for student govt on campus is terrible. The engineering student govt was even worse, no one gave a shit, lol.

3) I don't see those against gay marriage and those against those that are against gay marriage as equal. One is limiting a groups human rights, the other is speaking out against those limiting rights. I don't see it as equal when sides are flipped. I don't think intolerance of intolerance is intolerance

4) Sure, a school govt could technically vote to keep a business off of campus that supports gay marriage. Of course, that school would face major public backlash.

Some people don't want to serve gay people cake and some people don't want to be associated with businesses perceived to be anti-gay. I see nothing wrong with either party. Your business, you run it as you wish.

This is reasonable. Too bad it won't ever happen

Not only does Chick fil A serve very good fast food but every time I have been in the place the staff has been pleasant which is much more than I can say for many other similar establishments. And never once has anyone mentioned religion to me.

WSS

My experience also.

It sure is better then McDonalds and Taco Bell.

And any fast food joint has pretty good chow especially if you catch them when its fresh. Still I've experienced some really rude service and tacky conditions at a some of these places but neverChick-fil-A.

FWIW, the now-deceased former Mayor of Boston, "Mumbles" Menino, strongly lashed out at Chic Fil A and told them they were not welcome in Boston.

Not sure what legal means were taken or not, but I don't believe Boston has one at this point.

Personally, I had their food a few times and liked it. There are just beginning to show up in CT.

Friends who live in the Southeast swear by it.

People should be able to decide - for themselves - if they want to support a business, or not.

I do. It is my right. As a, probably, bad example, I won't watch a movie having anything to do with Sean Penn and I don't purchase gas at CITGO even though it is usually a few cents cheaper than other brands. It kind of hurts because the stations are privately owned businesses but, still, I won't support "Hugo's people" if at all possible.

Am I right or wrong?

Doesn't matter. I still can spend my discretionary money where I want.

John nailed it. Let people decide for themselves, and it isn't a crime

to disagree.

Although lib emotional kneejerks think it IS a crime.

A thing I heard about boycotting products...that it goes against conservative principles, capitalism and the free market system to boycott a product that is of good quality just because you don't approve of the owners political or religious views.

Consider the thousands of food producing companies in a supermarket...by law all products must have its ingredients labeled. Funny if products had to indicate the social and political views of the manufacturer so that you could choose.

If you don't like the political viewpoints of Dannon Yogurt or Schwebels bread, there's always Yoplait and Nickels.

That said, on a personal level I really see no problem with it, but attempting to a conduct nationwide boycott on a product like liberals and liberal politicians try to do is wrong.

My ol lady does it...she refuses to buy Heinz Ketchup because that filthy rich liberal fuck John Kerry is married to the Heinz heiress...and she's from Pittsburgh to boot!!.

My wife buys Hunts ketchup.

I wonder how many conservatives would stop buying Ben and Jerrys ice cream if they knew Ben and Jerry were extreme radical leftists.

I didn't tell my wife about that one.

jesus fucking chris cpt literal, of course they wouldn't call it mooslimburger it was a fucking joke. The point about any kind of muslim run fast food chain. Fuck me running you are now quickly approaching the dumbest cunt I've ever met on the internet. You cannot roll with anything. Disagree with the point or the analogy fine...but for gods sake understand the basics of when something is being put out there for effect. I would have no idea what a muslim would call their establishment if they ran a fast food chain...jihadi burger maybe? Does that work better for you? Can you understand the overall point now or do you need another spoon?

omg you hypocritical cunt lord. You fucking conservatives try to organize nationwide boycotts every fucking year at Christmas against companies that did absolutely nothing wrong against anybody except had the audacity to call Christmas "the holidays" in their ad campaigns. The cognitive dissonance with you people is just overwhelming. You absolutely step all over your own dicks and just don't seem to care whatsoever.
