i think we all knew mccown was a baller. more afraid of his durability than anything else (as proven again today....).

was very surprised at crow's performance. i think it had to be his best to date.

coleman looks like the real deal BUT gonna pump the brakes a tad as no one had any film on him before today. i think opposing DCs will adjust and let's see what happens then.

D played well but not good enough.

was very pleasantly surprised and i hope my comments don't reflect a negative attitude as even with the loss i saw some really good things.

Yep, a good, tough entertaining game where the team looked improved from the week before. Still not good enough, but it's about what I expected this year as the young kids learn on the fly.

Talking about the two offensive lineman - Alex Mack and Mitchell Schwartz

Jesus Christ....when are you people going to get it through your head that Mack left on his own. He WAS NEVER SIGNING WITH THE BROWNS!!! He was offered the same money to stay here and he turned it down and signed in Atlanta. Get it through your fucking head there was no chance he was staying here. He wanted out 2 seasons ago. Christ.....its not that difficult of a concept to understand.

Coleman was very good, Pryor was ok and the team played hard. Other than that pretty much the same 0-2 but at least we should have a winnable game next week.

Oh, I disagree with that. Our linebacker play is far improved and the run defense is far superior to last year.

Definitely looked better than last week...which is an improvement.....excepting Coleman, the vets made most of the plays tho....rookies were fairly weak this week...

Team never quit. Played it out to the end and never gave an inch.

Say what?....cmon Ag....they gave an inch and then some...

Our offensive line sucks balls and our defense sucks bad well.

Shouldn't have let 2 pro bowlers walk

Right.....watching the first quarter, it was almost all plays by McCown, Crow, Barny, Hawkins $ Duke moving that team down field....and big plays on D by Davis and Haden and Kirksey that were setting the tone......which is why I wish we had just signed a couple/few more competent vets to throw into the mix.....still wouldve been plenty of opps for the rookies and, with a decent line, we could actually win a few....

Run D did look a lil better this week.....far superior?....no way......

Linebackers are a smidge better, simply because Kruger is gone and Kirksey has stepped it up another notch.....Schubert and Ogbah are not lighting it up tho, so to me, the OLB's are not superior to what the other guys (Orchard, Kruger, Mingo) brought...at least not yet...

Flacco could throw it at will on us today if it wasn't for dropped passes this game wouldn't have been close.

Philly was 4.6 ypc against us and today was Terrance West and Justin Forsett.

Right....Pitta ate our LB's and safetys alive....

Kindred might be a good tackler, but that old broken man(Pitta) took him to school today on coverage.....

Sorry guys pissed off and drunk after our loss didn't expect to get jumped on like that.

I tailgated, was jacked up after scoring 3 TDs in a row - then we blew it in spectacular fashion

But they're still out there, under game day pressure, learning under fire and that can only forge them quicker, or reveal that they can't handle too. Either way, players get better playing in games, not watching from the sidelines.

Bingo, we had that problem with Coon Dawg as our kicker.

Someone needs to realize that maybe it isn't the kicker!

I mean the guy game in on the left side untouched.

Well...Cam Erving must have had a big game!!!....cause I kept hearing his name...over and over....which is uber rare for a center......

He was taken out of the locker room on a stretcher after the game. Apparently something with his ribs/back that he missed up early in the game.

I'm surprised by the comments on defending the run and our linebackers. Short term memory? Do you not remember our inability to set the edge and those 150+ rushing yards against us last year? But I'm not a football guru so can someone look up the ave. and rank vs. last year.
