Post FA First-Pick Mock drafts

I didn't manage to get a high score but I would love this draft.

We'd have a monster OL. A talented WR group. Future MLB to groom under Dansby. A WR/TE Hybrid pass catching weapon. A true FB. A freak DE. A Rubin-like DT in the 6th* And a change of pace runningback that has rocket jets.

Your score is: 4510 (GRADE: B-)

Your Picks:

Round 1 Pick 5 (WASH): Brandon Scherff, OT/OG, Iowa (A+)

Round 1 Pick 24 (ARI): Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Missouri ( B)

Round 2 Pick 11: Denzel Perryman, ILB/OLB, Miami (Fla.) ©

Round 2 Pick 23 (ARI): Devin Funchess, WR/TE, Michigan (B-)

Round 4 Pick 12: Aaron Ripkowski, FB, Oklahoma (D-)

Round 5 Pick 11: Lynden Trail, DE/TE, Norfolk State (B+)

Round 6 Pick 13: Derrick Lott, DT, Chattanooga (A)

Round 7 Pick 12: Corey Grant, RB, Auburn (D)

Your Future Picks:

2017 Round 1 Pick

Yeah, we'd lose a first rounder next year but I think it would be worth it. Joe Thomas won't last forever and Scherff could fill that spot in the future... but for now he'd go RT/RG and bump Schwartz inside to rotate with Greco with would be a huge victory in itself. I think I got a low score because I reached 'slightly' but I got the players that I wanted, but more importantly I got the players that we needed.

So.... Heroine addict looking jesus, sits in front of a chalkboard with a go pro and I'm supposed to be impressed? Not only that but he cherry picks select clips. Many of them show Schreff having TE help quite a bit.

Shall we have a wager on the young man's success in the pro's ?

I really don't care who the Browns take this draft. Dorial is the TRUTH. We could possibly get him at 19... fingers crossed. That would be Huge. This kid is bigger than AJ Green. Green was swiped from under us by the Bengals, we have the chance to pick up a true #1 WR. To think about DGB and Gordon pairing up with the supporting cast... the Defense can't keep up. Get Manziel the weapons to succeed, it's time.

I had to trade up to land Scherff, but I recouped a few picks by trading down and picked up the receiver that I feel is the best.

They are completely different people and different players.

We have two first rounders. This kid is BIGGER - STRONGER -AND- FASTER than AJ GREEN!

What are you guys thinking. If you would pass on a talent like this then I would have to say that you are the ones smoking weed.

If he wouldn't have had issues he would have went in the TOP 3 and we would have never had the chance to draft him. Too much talent to last until 12-19 otherwise. Take the chance, he seems to have learned from his mistakes, get Manziel his Mike Evans, a guy that will go up and get the ball above everyone else. You people wanting choir boys on the team are out of your fucking minds.... lol

His mom and dad are white? huh, interesting... found this on wiki. People are too hard on these guys.

Green-Beckham was born Dorial Green as the third of six children born to Charmelle Green, a single mother, in St. Louis, Missouri.[1] He never knew his biological father. He lived in several foster homes before John Beckham, his high school coach, and his wife Tracy officially adopted him on December 30, 2009.[1] The Beckhams had brought Green and his younger brother Darnell into their home in 2006.[23] The couple has one other child, a young daughter, who Dorial is very close to.[16] Darnell Green-Beckham is currently receiving treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia but is in remission.

Stop already. He's WORSE than Gordon.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/dorial-green-beckham?id=2552491

Enrolled at Oklahoma in 2014 after being dismissed from Missouri football team following two seasons with program. Ineligible to play in 2014 due to transfer rules. Was dismissed from Missouri program after being subject of burglary and assault investigation by police. He allegedly pushed a female down some stairs during the incident that was investigated. He didn't face charges from the incident. Was arrested twice for marijuana-related incidents. In January 2014, he was arrested along with two other men after police found a pound of marijuana in their car. No charges were filed. In October 2012, he was arrested along with two teammates after they were allegedly caught smoking marijuana in a campus parking lot. He was suspended for the Vanderbilt game after the arrest. In 2013, led Missouri in receptions (59), yards (883) and touchdowns (12).

WEAKNESSES

Play strength is a major concern. Struggles to free himself from press coverage and can be taken completely out of his routes. Runs sloppy, rounded routes. Fails to set up his breaks and frequently leads cornerbacks to his destination. Slow to adjust routes and find open space against zone. Fails to create the separation that is potentially available for him at top of routes. Rarely looks to body up cornerbacks and keep them out of the throw. Suspect work ethic. Awareness of footwork near sideline an issue. Considered a problem child at Missouri. Suspended twice by Missouri and arrested twice for marijuana-related incidents. Kicked off team at Missouri in April 2014 after details of his alleged role in an alleged burglary were released by Columbia, Mo., police. He allegedly shoved a female student down some stairs during the alleged incident, but no charges were filed. Missed entire 2014 season.

DRAFT PROJECTION Round 1 or 2 SOURCES TELL US

"I think the consistent problems for Josh Gordon are going to leak over and hurt his draft stock. He couldn't keep himself out of trouble, had no structure growing up and didn't take coaching at Missouri. He's tall and fast and has good hands, but he can't be trusted. Why would you take a guy like that before the third day?" -- NFC director of personnel

I'm curious about something - if this kid is so dominant, I'd love an explanation on how Gilbert shut him down.

Cause Gilbert was a bad ass CB in college.......look at his draft analysis.....he would definitely be the first one picked this year too....

Just wait.......he'll show up this year.......:)

Here is the so-called 'burglary' in which nothing was stolen. It states that DGB "knocked" on the door. When the woman answered the door she went to shut the door on him after she realized it was not the 'guests' she anticipated. He pushed open the door in an attempt to retrieve his woman from the residence. This is a fucking non-story. He left with his girlfriend. Nothing was stolen. I'm sure given the same circumstance that many of you would do the same thing. The only difference is that nobody gives a fuck about your petty life.

Good job not reading your own fucking article.

edit: "Retrieve his woman" What the flippity fuck kind of comment is that?

His girlfriend has been quoted: "I understand how upset you are. I am too - he drug me out by my neck and hurt me too...we just need to move quickly on this before he's arrested and before his warrant is public. He will be kicked out of Mizzou and the[n] not qualify for the draft next year. The coaches talked to me and explained to [m]e how serious this is and there's no time to waste at this point."

It's not worth it. POG is chock full of garbage ideas.

This is the guy who absolutely loved both McCoy and Richardson.

i met a guy who was born in AL and once he realized i was a browns fan all he could do was talk up richardson.

i thought the colts had cut him and he was in utter dismay that i thought that because of his 'good' year.

i turned around thinking he was talking to someone else.

pleez Fing no PO.

You know, you guys can proclaim that my ideas are garbage or I'm a kiss of death on talent evaluation. But, I don't let what you guys say affect my thoughts process. I stand by my judgment of both McCoy and Richardson. Oakland picked up Trent on the cheap, an angry and determined young player that has all the physical talent in the world. McCoy was retained by Washington once again because Gruden believes in his talent and abilities. I saw McCoy step up over Robert Griffin and Cousins and ball out last year, he's certainly better than Brian Hoyer or any other option we've trotted out there since our FO shoved Weeden down our throats.

Just for some of you who think Colt has a noodle arm and not to get off topic but whatever.

Like I said, you can say what you want but I've been consistent in my analysis on player talent, I don't let off the field things alter my judgment. That is not my department, I generally believe that people are good in nature and can change for the better under the right tutelage and circumstance. I give second chances and the benefit of the doubt in life. It's not my job to judge, that is for God to do, what I do is find talent that would help us win NFL Championships. DGB is one of those players that would accelerate that process.

Watch the damn interview and then come back and tell me he isn't a changed person... you don't think that he is worth a shot?

I know many Haters will proclaim that he isn't worth the chance, I bet those same people will not even take the time that it takes to watch the interviews to make an honest assessment, but would rather spend TWICE the time ignorantly talking trash. He regrets what happened to him. There is no doubt that he is the most talented receiver in this draft.
