THE BROWNS BOARD

BeastMode won't talk. His nickname is kind of racist, he shouldn't talk.

Lynch has embraced his nickname, and on one level it's a compliment. He's hard to stop, like a beast. But a beast is still an animal. If the league is going to promote one of it's stars as being the equivalent of an animal, than he should refuse to talk. Or maybe he's just a dick-grabbing dick. He's first ballot Hall of Fame regardless.

a RB? pleez.

dude sat on a couch with a good looking reporter and answered all HER questions while he sat there doing his man gap legs wide open sliding off the couch.

hey marshawn: do a terrance west already and get that shit taken care of. if you screw enough gash you know where your shit is. you don't have to keep grabbing yourself to make sure it's still there.

Well, he can play on my football team any time / any where.

He is a beast on the field

Haven't heard much about him off the NFL grid, nor do I really care.

Actually seems like a light-hearted guy with a sense of humor and a real desire to dis the press.

Ummm ... What?

How is calling someone a "beast" racist?

A beast is an animal.

Was its racist to call the Washington Redskins OL of the 80's "The Hogs"? Or just was it just racist to the two black guys and not the three white guys?

I don't understand.

He's a dumbass piece of shit. The media and their questions are the conduit to the, and more specific, his fans. The fans are the ones who ultimately pay the fuckface's salary, and without them, the fat fuck would be on the corner selling crack.

Every time he doesn't answer a question, and instead replies with one of his pre-rehearsed comments, it might as well just be a "fuck you fans"...... Yet his dumbass supporters are themselves too stupid to see it.

He is what is wrong with professional sports, and his pussy, ball-less head coach is equally to blame for not telling him to manup, and do like every other player in the NFL, and talk to the fans.

You do realize his nickname is one that he created himself right? He said years ago that they only speed he has is "beast mode". He has a clothing line called Beast Mode. He created beast mode.

Lynch is a very good RB just think he is a douchebag. I have no issue if players refuse to answer personal questions but they need to answer football question. Cowherd hit the nail on the head today saying most players/former players are clueless morons. Imagine the collective anger if Brady pulled this with deflategate, saying, "I gots nuttin' to say to yo cause I donts see you when I gets home a 'night".

You can't name 10 all-time great RB's with better highlights than Marshawn. Hell, name 5, with rings.

1. you're a douchebag

2. you're a douchebag

3. you're a douchebag

4. you're a douchebag

5. you're a douchebag

should i go on douchebag?

Marshawn Lynch is better than any Browns player since Jim Brown.

how about your sister don COCKroft?

This is bullshit. No one wants to tackle Jim Brown or Marshawn. Isn't this the same team that drafted Trent Richardson. They prayed he would be a stud. Give Marshawn his career status.

fuck that piece of shit and fuck you.

Lynch has a ring, great stats, and an awesome career highlight reel. His personality shouldn't affect his on the field performance. Check out Bronco HOF RB Floyd Little's shitty stats and tell me Lynch isn't a Hall of Famer.

Yet another newb here who for some reason makes my rare form of forum dyslexia kick in. He types "Lynch has a ring, great stats, and an awesome career highlight reel. His personality shouldn't affect his on the field performance. Check out Bronco HOF RB Floyd Little's shitty stats and tell me Lynch isn't a Hall of Famer" but try as I may I keep reading it as "imadumbfuckimadumbfuckimadumbfuckimadumbfuckimadumbfuck" !

lol at comparing beastmode stats to 1967 as well

Alright so the whole concept of beast mode being racist is beyond ridiculous. No need to expand any further.

As for why he isn't talking, he doesn't come across as a very loquacious or out spoken type of guy and there is nothing wrong with that. I'm sure he's also very aware that actually speaking harms him in terms of financial gain. It's not like companies are lining up to sign an athlete to endorse their product if said athlete doesn't speak well.

In my book, I have no problem with his tactic with the media. He's gained much more exposure by not talking then he would if he did. He's also bringing a lot more exposure to the NFL by doing so.

As for it being "disrespectful" to the fans, grow the fuck up. Are you that big of a pussy where you feel "disrespected" when an athlete refuses to answer, especially when asked the same damn question 15 fucking times with slight alterations just so the lazy beat writer can claim they asked the question in their article?

Frankly, as an NFL fan, I find it hilarious. Then again I find hearing a constant stream of cliches incredibly annoying and a complete waste of time. Needless to say, I don't watch press conferences often.
