Red Skelton was genuinely funny, never belittled other people to make other people laugh. And, his portrayal of Freddie the Freeloader on the Thanksgiving Specials was gentle, and meaningfully funny. south park is a saturday night live at high speed in cartoon version. But of course after almost two decades or whatever it is there is some dead wood in the forest. Can't be helped I guess. I might have laughed harder at the movie than any other time in my adult life.
