Are the actual troops getting a cut in pay and benefits? That CNN article made it seem like just cutting the number of troops and reducing our production of certain vehicles and equipment. I see nothing wrong with this. So instead of being bigger than the next 8 countries combined, it will only be 6 or 7. Increased modernization will decrease for manpower, like almost every other industry. Plus, I thought we wanted to not be involved with every country's problems and play World Police.
