THE BROWNS BOARD

Big Gay Ben

Dr. David Chao is reporting it's not a serious tear and it's very possible he only misses the Pats game. We have a bye the following week.

Diagnosis surprised me. If anything I was thinking foot sprain or turf toe.

Yea it was really weird, he said it happened before he had any contact and he just "felt weird". I also thought it was turf toe based on the replay.

BR is always getting "nicked" but never really gets "hurt' as in IR level injuries.

But, so, he has a miniscus tear and is out next week....but could return following a bye week. But to what effectiveness? He is not a great runner, but is a great mover in the pocket. Will this injury affect his mobility such that he may be more of a standing rather than moving target in the future?

I think the Steelers have an top notch Offensive Line coach.....but having to play Landry Jones....then possibly a statuesques BR could test them mightily......

.....against any team but the Browns. With the Browns piss poor pass rush it won't matter. BR would have all day back there regardless.

Why do we even let Trolls on here? Better yet why would a Steeler fan even want to be part of this group? You make yourself look pretty stupid by doing so, Of course nothing makes you look as dumb when you wave that snot rag in the air, but I you get what I am saying

I hear now that BR will be out 4-6 weeks, not 1-2:

Browns don't play them until 5 weeks from now.

Of course, it is just this way with the Browns. Instead of facing like Jacoby Brisset vs. Pats.....Tom Brady comes back just in time.

Instead of facing like Landry Jones, I suspect BR will be back just in time to play the Browns.

Anyone willing to wager against it?

AT(booters) - Ben Barfsonhisbooger will be out 3-4 weeks with a torn urinary probiscus from

an attempted rape of a water buffalo at the Pukesburg zoo. Further details are not being released

for the sake of mankind, and all decent NFL fans who just want to watch football...

which excludes steeler fans.

I've read this too. The water buffalo was intoxicated and big Ben penetrated while his entourage held the door shut.

Some interesting comments yesterday on NFL Insiders, IIRC, that Ben has a history of exaggerating his recovery times to enhance his Superman image...

At least that's what his wife says.... badaboom...

To be more upbeat, the guy is due to hit that age wall. Hard to say when that might be but maybe Karma will show too.

Well, his arm has looked sharp so far in most games. The issue will be can he continue to endure the punishment. If his mobility is diminished he could end up having to take a lot of the blows that in the past he has been able to sidestep.

Only sensible post here in addition to mine.

You didn't think this made sense?
