1. What year did the Oilers actually change their name to the Titans?
Moved in '96... played in college stadiums as the Tennessee (Memphis) Oilers for one year and then the TN (Nashville) Oilers for a year before settled into their new Nashville stadium in '99 when they took their new name... picked out of a contest.

When you suffer the loss of two NFL teams, you tend to remember this stuff...

2. What is the all time head to head record between the Tits/Oilers and the Browns?
Started in '70 merger and in the same Div (AFC Central) initially playing twice per year until we took a break after '95. That's 52 games. They were really good about ten years... about the same for us, but they were awful more than us. WAG 31-21

From '99 until now we've played every third year... 5 games... guess 1-4

Total guess ----> 32 - 25

3. What two Hall of Fame players once coached the Tits/Oilers?
Pardee and Muchak

4. What RB that led the Tits/Oilers in rushing several times also played for the Browns?
???

5. What WR that led the Tits/Oilers in receiving a couple of years also played for the Browns?
Slaughter

6. What auto maker was a Tits/Oilers first round draft pick?
Tabbed a big DT named Ford once in the 90's... Don't remember him amounting to much.

Oilers wasted #1's a lot, too... Don "Jaws" Hardeman springs to mind... then again they did take Earl #1 overall...

7. Who was the Oilers very first ever draft pick? Hint: Hall of Famer.

George Blanda?

You didn't say who has won the most....and you are just slightly off the margin of error...ever so slightly.

NO, Blanda played a number of years with the Bears before moving over to Houston when the AFL began....but...you are warm in the sense that it is those Bears who are involved in this question

#2, I'd say it is a little closer, 30-26 Browns

#3, I can't think of the other HOF coach, would have been early AFL days I guess

#4 Lorenzo White

#7 No idea, but my guess is he signed with an NFL team.

'Renzo White... of course...

Gip,

#1 - as in I lost "two teams".... the Browns and the Oilers.

#2 - the record was obviously us in the lead...

#3 - One more bite... and I am ashamed to have to take it... but "the other" Oiler HC in the HOF has to be O.A."Bum" Phillips.
