oh yeah, the Bobcats. Saying no to Zombo threw me off (you should've counted it) but the Bobcats have the fewest playoff appearances. I'm assuming you shot it down because he lumped the Hornets in there while the Hornets and Bobcats are two separate franchises. Bobcats are the expansion team that replaced the hornets a few years after they left.

Bobcats/Hornets NO...but there is something funky about this...which I will explain when I give the answer

What, did the new Charlotte franchise get the Charlotte Hornet history back when they became the Hornets again?

In that case, I will go Pelicans.

Zombo

Except now....as noted, the Charlotte Hornets records from the time they were in Charlotte have been merged with the Bobcats records and they are considered to be a single franchise...not separate.

Whereas, the team's time spent in New Orleans...be it under the name Hornets or Pelicans, is now considered to be a single, separate franchise.

I kind of approve of the way that they did that.

Second Chance Saloon. Here are the questions unanswered so far. Give another try...or your fist if you'd like:

1. Of the schools in the Power 5 football conferences which one has the all time best winning percentage in Bowl games (by the way...I did set a minimum number of games.)

Question difficulty rating: 9.5 out of 10

2. Which school has been ranked the most times in the AP final Top 20/25 football poll since the AP poll began in 1936?

Question difficulty rating: 6.0 out of 10

4. In the history of the NBA playoffs, which team averaged scoring the most points in a postseason series? Give team/era.

Question difficulty rating: 4.0 out of 10

7. What 2 cities played in the very first NBA nee BAA Finals in 1947?

Question difficulty rating: 5.5 out of 10.

8. They did not begin naming NBA Finals MVPs until 1969. Who was the first NBA Finals MVP?

Q.D rating: 3.5

9. From which 2 schools have the Cavaliers drafted the most players in their history?

QD rating: 3.0

10. From which school have the Cavs drafted the most first round picks in their history? (hint...not either school in #9)

Here is some trivia that takes in a lot of different sports areas. See what you can do:

Answers

1. Of all the schools in the current Power 5 college football conferences, which one in its history has the best winning percentage in bowl games? (the answer is surprising)

Utah. The Utes are 14-4 for a .778 win pct. in all their Bowl games. Bet you never saw that one coming.

2. The AP college football poll has been around since 1936. Which team has been ranked the most times in the Top 20/25 of the APs final poll?

Michigan...they have been ranked 57 times. Second behind them are Oklahoma and Ohio State with 54 years each.

3. Of all the current Power 5 conference schools, which school has been playing football the longest?

Rutgers. They played Princeton in the first college football game ever played.

4. In the history of the NBA playoffs, which team averaged scoring the most points in a single postseason series? (you may give the team and era, specific year not required)

It was the 1985 "Showtime" Lakers who average 136.0 pts per game in a series vs. the Phoenix Suns.

5. This is the Cavs 45th year of existance. Within a margin or error of one, in how many of those years have the Cavs participated in the playoffs?

Nineteen times now.

6. Of the 30 current franchises, which one had made the playoffs the fewest times?

The New Orleans franchise. (fka Hornets, nka Pelicans) only 6 playoff appearances. As noted above, The original Charlotte Hornets moved to N.O. but when the New Orleans "Hornets" decided to change their name to the Pelicans and agreed that Charlotte could have the name "Hornets" returned ....they also agreed to transfer all records of the team when it played in Charlotte to be added to the Charlotte Bobcats records, who then became the Hornets. So now the "Charlotte Hornets/Bobcats" are considered to be a single franchise, and the Pelicans became a new franchise upon their move to NO.

Ya follow?

7. What 2 cities faced off in the very first NBA (then known as the BAA) Finals? (and name the teams if you can)

Philadelphia (Warriors) and Chicago (Stags)

8. They did not begin naming an NBA Finals MVP until 1969. Who was the first NBA Finals MVP?

The Logo. Jerry West.

9. Some of you may not recall, but the NBA draft at one time went as many as 12-15 rounds, but now is only 2. Nevertheless....from which Two schools..which are tied... have the Cavs drafted the most players from in their history?

The Usual Suspects: North Carolina and Kentucky. Six each.

Although...caveat...the actual winner of "most drafted from" would be "no college" with guys like LeBron, Diop, Ilgauskus and others.

10. From which school have the Cavs drafted the most players in the first round?

Hint: It is not either of the schools that are the answers to Q. #9

Michigan: 3 players: Campy Russell, Tim McCormick, Jamal Crawford.

11. Name those players currently on the Browns roster who have made a Pro Bowl with the Browns.

Whitner, Gipson, Haden, Mack, Thomas, Gordon

12 A. The best defensive back the Browns have ever drafted is a guy they didn't bother to keep (he was either cut or traded early on). Who is this DB?

Dick LeBeau. (the only DB they have ever drafted that has made the HOF)

B. The best THREE Defensive Ends the Browns have ever drafted are guys they didn't bother to keep (either cut or traded)....who are these 3 defensive ends?

Doug Atkins, Jim Marshall, Willie Davis. Atkins and Davis are the only DEs they have ever drafted that have made the HOF. Marshall should be in the HOF.

C. The Best Defensive Tackle the Browns have ever drafted is a guy they didn't bother to keep (cut or traded)....who is this DT

Henry Jordan. Again, this is the only DT ever drafted by the Browns to make the HOF

(notes: Browns HOF DE Len Ford and DT Bill Willis were not drafted by the Browns...but were FAs.)
