miktoxic
hard to give recommendations unless i know what genre ur into. if you say 21 pilots i think 2016-17 pop. then i'd give you 'the 1975s'. prob is no one really nowadays can hold a candle to what we grew up listening to in 60s 70s and 80s. from hippies to new wave, if you weren't around then well, i feel sorry for ya. prob here in NY is either you're into hardcore punk or death metal or rap..... not much middle ground unless you're stuck in 70s led zeppelin or 80s ac/dc. friends don't understand how cool OH radio was...considering. prog rock - genesis, camel and yes. bluesy jazzy rock - robin trower and jeff beck r and b - teddy pendergrass and isley brothers. could go on and on. the 'new' stuff..... oooof. lucky these guys can even read music. a sampled drum beat and a vocoder and you're a millionaire. really like citizen cope. about as recent as i am stiff. think they're from texie okie somewhere where the armadillos run free. Tour2ma
Found some.... in an old (2016) ACL episode... Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters... CD is now on order. Above CD has been a staple in my player this trip... this is a very strong CD. It's impressed many that I have shared it with. Plant's voice is still remarkably strong... he has not one, but two strong guitarists in his backing band.
