  1. If they don’t fire woods, I’ll be forced to stop buying tickets. I don’t know how it’s taken an analytics department 3 years to realize that playing the softest zone in NFL history allows the likes of Bailey Zappe to put 38 points on you, or allows Joe Flacco to come back from the dead and put 17 on you in two minutes . . . All this with what is a super talented backfield . . . Do they teach NFL defense at Harvard? I could take or leave Stefanski . . . In a perfect world I would like to see him be the OC and someone else take the HC job based purely on his boneheaded game day decisions. I like his offense, but that’s pretty much it. No matter what they do anywhere else in the building it seems our only hope for a winning season next year is that deshaun will be like the deshaun of old for 17 games.
  2. Just watched that garbage. Kevin still can’t stop shooting this team in the foot with his head scratchers and refusal to accept three points. You bring in brissett to throw a deep ball . . . The one part of his game that has been glaringly bad all year?? WTF dude. Our pass D has to be the softest there’s ever been on an NFL field. We spot them 10 free yards every snap by playing 15 yards off the receivers. The middle of the field is still wide open all the time because we can’t do anything but play weak ass zone . . . And everyone is still confused after half the snaps. My wife’s vagina could coach up a stronger pass defense. I don’t want them to fire Kevin, but I wouldn’t be upset if they did at this point. His game day management is still fucking atrocious, and it’s been three fucking seasons. He gets out coached consistently in the second half, and out coached consistently by any coach who has a successful NFL resume. He apparently refuses to take any responsibility for or make any adjustments at all on the defense. If his boss didn’t make even dumber decisions than he does there would be no defense for this team to have gotten significantly worse since he won coach of the year two years ago. FUCK It was nice to see Njoku take over that drive in the 3rd
  3. I don’t know if the other top tier rushers are getting this same kind of treatment or not, but I kinda get it. No one wants to watch Myles sack the opposing QB every other play. We’d all like it, but It’s just not good for the game and would be no fun to watch. The 2 problems I have are that 1) They let some EGREGIOUS holds go uncalled on Myles and if he gets injured “fighting through” one of them, that’s some major bullshit. They should be at least calling those or he will end up on IR at some point because of it. & 2) You gotta stop with these ticky tack holding calls we always seem to get at the most inopportune times. Our line better be given the benefit of the doubt, especially if they’re going up against a quality front. But no, we’ve had all these drives stalled because of some holding call on one of our wide receivers on the other side of the field on a running play, or some other guy not even near the ball, or Teller pancakes the shit outta some loser? You gotta let those slide if you’re absolutely going to refuse to protect Myles even a little bit.
  4. No definitely not a Baker bro lol. Just hard to blame the head coach for the situation he was put in at the start of the season. He was basically told to go tell his team this . . “Hey guys, I know it’s not ideal, but we’ll be starting a backup QB for most of the season. On the bright side if you’re able to win us enough games to keep us in the playoff race our starter who hasn’t played in two years might be able to shake enough of the rust off to squeak in. On another note, Joe is still the Defensive Coordinator.” That’s a pretty smelly bag of shit to try and sell someone LOL. Obviously, I don’t think Baker was going to do much here either so it really put everyone in the tough spot of having a decent team, but no QB. And that situation goes back to Jimm-uhhh having a football guy GM and an analytics guru jockeying for position when we had that first pick. Now here we are watching the all-pro QB we could have taken beat the brakes off us in the second half. To Dorsey’s credit I do think baker was the perfect pick to get a team of nobody’s out of a 1-31 skid, but just was never gonna be the guy to lead a team of competent professionals to the promised land.
  5. I really wanted to keep Stefanski around another year for continuity’s sake but this team clearly wasn’t buying into this season, but it’s hard to put all the blame on Stefanski for that when the owner basically trades the season away before it starts. Once again it starts at the top. It’s why we’re seeing all these other teams that sucked finally turn the corner and here we are 3-7 again. Terrible owner who can’t get out of his own way.
  6. Another year . . . another dumpster fire. Maybe we’ll draft another undersized CB and WR, some guy on defense who has all the physical tools . . . but just can’t play football, some random specialty position like ball holder on field goals in the fifth round. And draft actual positions of need in the 6th and 7th. We’ll sign some old veteran here for a paycheck, who’ll play half ass. We’ll sign some guy who’s actually decent but he’ll blow his Achilles the first week of camp. We’ll release some guy that was stuck behind some Berry draft pick on the depth chart for three years, and he’ll have the first all-pro season of his hall of fame career for some other team. We’ll keep the coaching staff that refuses to accept they’re not gonna outsmart the rest of the league with dumb fucking offensive play calls at terrible times. We’ll have Woods out there with a defense that doesn’t even know where the fuck they’re sposed to be on the football field. The only change they’ll make is to fire the ST coach and hire some guy who somehow does worse . . . And my dumbass we’ll send them a check for another season’s worth of tickets. I’ll have optimism in my eyes and hope in my heart for the new season . . . this year will be different. Even though we did all the same dumb shit we did every offseason before . . . I’ll buy into the preseason hype . . . Only to have this team rip my sack off and step on my balls again. And just to put the icing on the cake . . . Deshaun will inevitably be unable to control his manly urges and will succumb to his desire to rub his ball bag all over some poor woman . . . it’s just how it goes as a browns fan. The laws of probability say that we accidentally have to be good at some point. I’m just hoping it’s in my lifetime . . . It’s the only hope that keeps my fandom alive.
  7. Whenever we fire up the “fire everyone”machine in Cleveland I ask myself “Does the coach have the players to win?” For once, I think they do. Sure our IDL is weak, but is every unit on every winning team in the NFL perfect? Do all winning coaches in the NFL have the perfect player groups across their teams? OR? Are good coaches/organizations able to put their players in the best positions to make plays/win games based on those players’ abilities and skill sets. Our staff for whatever reason can’t make this happen . . . On a pretty talented roster. What do you think Belichick’s record would be with this squad against the schedule we played? We’re really gonna blame Brissett and Tommy Togiai for opposing wide receivers just milling around the field wide open all year? Uncle Rico could’ve had the same day Zappe had yesterday throwing to guys taking leisurely strolls wide open across First Energy field all day, Its the glaring reason we are 2-4 and not 5-1. I didn’t go into the season with many expectations but I did expect our touted secondary to be able to cover at least one guy at least one time 😂
  8. The scary part is coach just keeps making the same mistakes over and over again . . . Big Kev still refusing to take the 3 points early in games, still running empty backfield sets and having Chubb chill on the sidelines for half the game, still pretending Brisket is Watson, terrible clock management at the end of halves and games, still hasn’t fired Joe woods. Stop doing the same shit and expecting different results . . . Maybe I’m the dummie who keeps driving to the stadium expecting to one day see more W’s than L’s
  9. These losses are entirely on Joe Woods and this garbage zone scheme they insist will be “fixed” every week. You can’t continuously leave guys wide open all over the field and expect to win games. With all the capital this team has spent on this defense (especially the secondary), there’s no excuse for the likes of Mayfield, Flacco, and Mariota looking like Tom Brady at the end of those games. How long does the front office watch this before the time to get it “corrected” is up?? Then you’ve got Stefanski refusing to accept that Watson is on the bench and we have a game managing backup on the field. Just run plays that suit our strengths and stop trying to be the “smartest” coach on the field. And bro, just take the fucking points already, and maybe we wouldn’t be expecting brisket to look like Mahomes at the end of the game. We keep doing the same dumb shit and apparently expect different results . . .
  10. “Why didn’t he (ward) own it then?” ”My name is Tyvis Powell” . . . 😂 It should come from guys like Ward who are getting paid 100 million, but there is obviously zero leadership on this defense. I sure hope they figure this out before we play the more quality opponents 🤦‍♂️
