I dont think we will see him try to gouge the fans. At least not in Cleveland. If we see the Browns making a playoff run, you'll see he avg ticket price go up substantially. Above post didnt mention wheher those were avg from the organization or just in General. it's not necessarily the owner manipulating, the secondary market is where the big mark ups come from. What major industry does cleveland have that is producing masses of rich folks? Seattle has the technology industry, so they can get away with 300 per ticket on avg. Joe Sixpack long ago got the short end of the stick from the NFL. One look at the concession stand prices will tell you all you need to know. Wonder why people Tailgate, and have to stagger to their seats? First Energy beer price- $9.50. per beer. Twelve pack of Busch= same price. Some low budget fans may not be the smartest, but that equation doesn't entail advanced calculus to figure out. It's all about TV revenue, and sponsorship $$$$. When Annhauser-Busch told the NFL- we don't like the way you're handing the Peterson child abuse thing- and we might pull the megamillon exclusive right deal- the NFL asked them how high would you like us to jump?
