2014 Qbs

Not saying we will draft one, and Weeden has my full support but next years class could* feature some good big and/or athletic QBs.

Teddy Twatwater* Louisville

Tajh Boyd Clemson

Johnny Manziel* Texas A&M

Logan Thomas Virginia Tech

Braxton Miller* Ohio State

Aaron Murray Georgia

AJ McCarron Alabama

Bridgewater, Boyd, Thomas an Miller all would be comparable to Cam Newton IMO, and no, it's not because they are black. They are all big-bodied QBs with strong arms, and they have the athletic ability to make something with a broken play.

6'5" 245 - 4.59 40

6'3" 220 - 4.54 40

6'1" 215 - 4.68 50

6'6" 260 - 4.56 40

6'2" 215 - 4.46 40

Cam Newton is a rare breed, but this guys are the closest to his measurables since Cam came out.

Chud might want his guy after this year, or he might not, but it's possible to get someone close to Cam in next years draft.

I've seen Boyd and Murray play many times and while I enjoy watching them play, I'd pass on them. Manziel is intriguing and we'll see how he does this year. Bridgewater would be the clear fav for me.

Johnny Manziel is shorter than colt Mccoy and doesn't have the arm strength and he isn't even on our roster anymore...more importantly he is a punk compared to McCoy who was a respectable kid. None of these kids impress me at all. Was a big E.J. and Bray fan...in 3-5 years those two will be awesome. If anyone i would take Murray a bit smaller than Colt but has a stronger arm and will probably win the Heisman this year...honestly, i'm all in on Jason Campbell beating out Weeden anyway.

Breaking down the qbs for the 2014 draft is way premature. They still have one more season to play themselves.

Yes, this time last year Barkley was the consensus #1 overall for 2013.

And then in September-October, Geno Smith was THE man.

Let's let Weeds roll and then I'll talk to you draftniks in January.

Bridgewater or bust

I believe Mel Kiper has him as the overall #2 prospect next year behind that Clown from South Carolina.

So, if he lives up to his current billing, then no, the Browns have no shot. (because they are going to have a decent record...nowhere near top 5)

Of course, at one time people thought Matt Barkley may have been the #1 or 2 overall prospect in this year's draft. How did that work out?

Johnny Football could end up being Jason White.
