B1G 2-2 so far in the early "JV" schedule, the big boys are coming up starting Friday 12/30.

A lot of interest in the CLEM/OSU game among others, who gets to move on against mighty ALA...is there any doubt there?

Some doubt here. I'm not sure the Buckeyes will be able to match Clemson IF it becomes a shootout. The passing game wasn't very good, but maybe with the 5-6 weeks off, they fixed things.

Bowl game lines don't move much generally, OSU open -3 consensus now -2', O/U 61 to 59. Maybe a very slight move toward Clemson.

Meanwhile Michigan still a good -7 over FSU tonight.

Alabama still a solid -14, O/U dropped from 58 to 53.

Alabama 17-7 halftime, as I've said before and even last year these guys look like pros. Washington will need a few miraculous plays to have a prayer or the Tide will roll them into oblivion. ....they just wear you out.

Now 7 pm should be a better game, Urban needs to weave his magic.

Well now that the BUCKEYES season is over they are very young and should beat "m" again next year who aren't really a young team at all.

Now we can move on to the BROWNS last game.

After a pair of dominant performances on Saturday by Alabama and Clemson in the Peach and Fiesta Bowls, the national title in Tampa, Florida is set for Jan. 9.

The Tide have opened as a 7 or 8-point favorite in Las Vegas, depending on the book, over the Tigers, with the point total set at 54.5.

I hope Clemson goes on to defeat Alabama.

I think Alabama will bury them BUT I hope Clemson wins and we move on.

Meanwhile GO YSU on 1/7/2017 bring home a National Championship!

FSU had a lot more talent. The only reason it was tough to predict this game is because FSU is young and m is old, and experience negates an opponent's talent.

I wouldn't say they had a lot more, but having our most talented, all-american player hurt didn't help. But considering it is only year 2 of Harbaugh, and he is still bringing in his guys (good chance we have back to back top 5 classes), you could probably say they're more talented top to bottom.

And yes, we had a lot of seniors starting, but many of them were basically "starting by default". Again, we were 5-7 and missed a bowl two years ago. It is only year two of Harbaugh. He's still building his team with his guys. The starters out there may have been experienced, but its not the same type of Sr that would be on a year 5 Meyer team.

At 33-32 either team coulda won that game, even if m was the 7 point favorite.

I imagine that line would have changed if they knew Peppers was hurt

Oh yes because the announcement came so late every casino book I saw was locked in at MICH -7 so you couldn't get in at less and it would have dropped. And -7 was a great line if you were an FSU fan.

(GO to vegasinsider.com, ncaa fb, scores and you can see the tick by tick changes by each casino....mountains of numbers on gambling! )
