Liberalism is spreading through many Christian churches like a dangerous virus. So many people, including ministers, have succumbed to the liberal anti-God pressures and ideology of the world. They are embracing the ways of the world instead of the way of God.

Probably one of the most obvious examples of this is the growing acceptance of homosexuality among many so-called Christian churches. There are even churches who profess to be Christian and yet they the pastors are homosexuals and their churches cater to homosexuals in general. They claim that homosexuality has nothing to do with being a Christian. Their liberal ways have blinded them to what the Bible says and they pick and choose what they want to believe from the Bible and what they want to ignore.

I’ve often pointed out to them that God made it very clear that homosexuality is an abominable sin punishable by death as stated in Leviticus 20:13:

“If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.”

I’ve also pointed out to them that Jesus taught that marriage was one man and one woman, not a man and a man or a woman and woman:

“He answered, ‘Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.’” [Matthew 19:4-6]

Additionally, the Bible is clear on the purpose of marriage and that is to raise godly children:

“Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking?
Godly offspring
. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth.” [Malachi 2:15 – emphasis mine]

Many of these same liberal so-called Christians claim that Jesus did away with the laws that God gave Moses. I say that is just their way of excusing their sins. Allow me to share with you what Jesus said about the Law:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore, whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [Matthew 5:17-19]
Jesus fulfilled the Temple Laws but did NOT do away with any of the Law as he stated in the Sermon on the Mount. In fact, He clearly condemns anyone that removes anything from the Law and those that teach others to do the same. In other words, Jesus condemns anyone who teaches that homosexuality is ok. In God’s eyes, homosexuality is still an abominable sin and should not be practiced or tolerated. I know that goes against the liberal tolerances and inclusiveness of today’s depraved society, but man does not have the right to change God’s Word as warned by Jesus in Matthew 5:17-19.
In today’s America, many public schools are teaching children from kindergarten on up through high school that homosexuality is normal and in some instances preferred. I’ve heard of some cases where kids are being taught that homosexuality is something they should explore. When I hear and think about all of the educators teaching these things, I think about what Jesus said in Matthew 18:5-6 and Luke 17:1-2:
“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
“And he said to his disciples, ‘Temptations to sin[a] are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.’”
On more than one occasion, Jesus openly condemned those who pervert God’s Law, which includes homosexuality, and especially those who teach others to do so also and that includes condemning homosexuality and those who teach it as being acceptable.

It is a good thing that God/Buddha/etc. don't have any say in U.S. law.

 

The Judeo-Christian Values of America

 

In Judeo-Christian America one finds the idea of equality before God and the law, but not government forced economic equality. Modern European culture has stressed the value of economic equality rather than Liberty, and their governments unjustly enforce the principle. This has led to the failed European inventions of Socialism and Communism. Socialists in America have been lured into this failed European idea of social justice. Socialism is a failure in that it unjustly suppresses human creativity by excessively taxing away its rewards, and by foolishly giving economic reward to many who, even though mentally and physically able, fail to honor their Divine privilege and duty to work creatively.

Thus, Socialism is a dual insult to God-given creativity. Communism was much worse in that it also dishonored the sacredness of human life and liberty. Communism was the inevitable result of separating not just church from state, but God from state. Communism dishonored God's gifts of Life, Liberty and Creativity. European cultures have historical ties to authoritarian and totalitarian systems dating back to the Roman Empire. Even European Christianity was, for a time, contaminated by its links to authoritarian rule.

American Judeo-Christian Culture, on the other hand, has been linked to honoring Life, Liberty and Creativity from the outset; deriving its wisdom from the lights of reason, common sense, and both the Hebrew Bible and New Testament Christian Bible. Thomas Jefferson and the great majority of our Founding Fathers explicitly put God into the national life of the United States, by putting the Creator into the Declaration of Independence. It is important that American Liberty has something to do with God; that is something for students to know and discuss, even if they are not particularly religious. This does not represent some form of tyranny of the religious majority or an injustice; it was in fact the wisdom of our Founding Fathers to stand in opposition to tyranny and injustice by acknowledging the source of our rights -- those rights originating from God rather than from King George III, or for that matter from the Soviet or Chinese Politburo, or a courthouse, or a legislature.

America is a melting pot of diverse people including Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and Atheists; and from the Judeo-Christian perspective, all are made in God's image. We have in America a multiethnic society, and that is good. What would be unhealthy for America would be for it to become Balkanized, something likely to happen with the atrophy of Judeo-Christian American Culture and Values. Worse yet would be for America to adopt the toxic values which exist in some parts of the world and which are endemic in some foreign cultures. The values of Fascism, Nazism, Communism or Totalitarian Islamic Sharia Law for example must never metastasize into our American Culture, rooted in Judeo-Christian values. These values have been with us from the beginning and they have made us strong and successful. These Judeo- Christian Values should be kept central to the American Spirit and Culture even as we have become more multi-ethnic.

Some of the words of our Founding Fathers will illustrate American Judeo-Christian Values and our separation of church and state, but not the separation of God from state, and provide grounding for our understanding of social justice.

As much as I believe that a great deal of the gay movement is to shock and offend people and as much as I believe many of the left are just bitter little pricks when it comes to Faith I have to admit I care very little about the Old Testament. Sorry. Because if I did there's tons of shit in there I think is just outrageously ridiculous and none of us strive to live our Lives to those stringent rules.

How many of you guys who have slept with more than one woman have fallen on your knees and beg to repent your sins? I don't see many hands.

(of course that might be because some of you haven't had the opportunity...)

 

I think if you don't work as hard as possible to live your life by every rule in the Bible, I mean every single one then you should probably just...

We know for 100% that those born gay or otherwise non-heterosexual is genetic in nature. If you don't believe that stop reading because you're fucking stupid.

 

So we know someone being gay is based on genetics they had no hand in creating. Some believe God creates man in his image, or is the creator of all things. So that means, by the very fundamentals of the faith, God creates gay people. God therefore according to this logic would create gay people just to call them abominations and shun their actions.

 

So either this is all beyond stupid, or God is a dick who takes pleasure by screwing people over randomly who he shuns out of heaven.

So we know someone being gay is based on genetics they had no hand in creating. Some believe God creates man in his image, or is the creator of all things. So that means, by the very fundamentals of the faith, God creates gay people. God therefore according to this logic would create gay people just to call them abominations and shun their actions.

 

So either this is all beyond stupid, or God is a dick who takes pleasure by screwing people over randomly who he shuns out of heaven.

there is a 3rd option. Maybe there is no such thing as God?

Just as stupid to assign right or wrong to something because a person is born that way or can't help it.

I won't bother again listing all the sexual perversions that we as a Society consider taboo and want to punish hurt and kill those who are trapped within those desires. You know what they are though.

I don't suppose anyone here would consider 'well he can't help it or he was born that way' a valid defense.

 

(before you are tempted to freak out in response to this I'm not making any right or wrong judgment about homosexuality, just the way people look at nature)
