Lawsuit or not - he's gone for the season...clearly, this regime was expecting a half season penalty...passed on Watkins - one of many moves we will all witness for yet another famous "we are a new regime and we are doing the year-1 tank job". It's as predictable as death and taxes.

 

1-15 ? .... Maybe not, but where not going anywhere...I hope we can at least split the AFC North.

 

Hopes ? And reasons to watch ? Pure (blind) love and the ability of our new HC to mold this defense.

 

We're coming out 1-3, bringing in Johhny and trading Hoyer to a desperate team for another # 1. Sounds like a plan...only fear is our nutty owner...I could see our coach "losing" the team and (our fans) yet again, get embarrassed by another regime change. Best thing is to win...win some games and develop this defense.

Big difference between not winning 7 games and Rule #1. I think it's going to be another last place finish in the division because we have too many new players on the team and a completely new system. But if the team can win 6 or more games and improve in key areas, it sets us up for 2015 with Jonny, Gordon, two first rounders, and more experience in the O & D systems. I'd be satisfied with that.

How anyone can say Farmer screwed this draft up is beyond me......He killed it. If JFF turns out to be a player, then Farmer hit on almost every pick AND got an extra 1st rounder for good measure.....THAT is totally unprecedented for a first year GM.....heck, we should have a parade for the guy, not be vilifying him....

 

AJ Green, Charles Johnson, Julio Jones did NOT make their teams contenders and Watkins will NOT make the Bills contenders......and JG was good, but not good enough to add to OUR win column( he was the best #1 in 2013, yet we win 4 games)......

 

Farmer picked a corner back(NEED) and a QB(NEED),,,,,,,

 

And when I hear about the World Champion Seahawks, the players I hear MOST about are Richard Sherman and Russell Wilson.......who happen to be Corner back and quarterback....hmmmm

To the point of gordon....a deal is reportedly close to fruition where the new revised drug testing policy MAY be retroactive.

 

Key points I guess is increasing the threshold for pot failures to 50ng/ml, removal of amphetamines from the PED list, HGH testing. If its retroactive, welker and scandrick are possibly eligible for reinstatement as well as a possibly josh, but that's a much greyer area. Josh's test was in December of last year, so depending on the wording....

 

Agree with manzier that the doom and gloom is a bit premature. Save it for the bye week.....until then, enjoy the football.
