It looked pretty sweet, so when I heard about the orange it was pretty interesting. Oh I threw up a little on my phone when I saw the mock up. I'd like to see another mock-up thrown together with normal looking numbers. The orange is good color. Replace the orange pants with brown. Keep the original helmet, and I could be okay with this. I think that is way off. My bet is they tinker with the current unis, maybe add an alternate uni, maybe make the orange the primary, widen the pinstripes a bit, and use a flat orange instead of the shiny on the helmet (which id dig). Tim Couch Pulls Out Posted April 10, 2014 Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 exactly if you exclude the number font. where's the brown stripe/stroke on the helmet as it is on the sleeves, which is a mainstay of the classic browns helmet? I think it's a pinstripe on either side of the gray stripe. I'm actually a big fan of the thick stripe look on the helmet, I believe I posted something last year about it. I'll see if I can dredge it up. EDIT: I don't think anyone is advocating adding tael or fuschia. I, too, want what you described. I want the overall look of the jerseys to stay the same, but modernized. I don't think we need any sort of drastic changes whatsoever. I believe that a jersey similar to Seattle's would be nice, with the orange used as an accent color on larger, more modern numbers. I think changing the helmet stripe minimally would go a long way. I'd personally like to see them emulate what OSU has done, widening the middle stripe, making the middle stripe metallic while the outside stripes are matte. We do not need a logo on the helmet. Our helmet stripe IS the logo. It's the focal point of the helmet and is easily recognizable. Accentuating that is all we need. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah, because as it stands with that mockup, there's essentially no changes whatsoeverz The only change is the stripesgo to mid chest and there's an orange jersey and pants. While nice, I think a two year wait for an extremely minor change would piss off a large faction of fans, even the ones who didn't want jerseys changed at all.
