THE BROWNS BOARD

Soft coaching. Soft Results.

I wonder how many more games we have to lose before there's a sense of urgency. That was McCowns ninth loss in a row. Sure glad we wasted money signing Bowe. Pathetic. Next week ought to bring out the rose colored glasses playing at Baltimore. When was the last time we won there?

Live it. Eat it.

Play not to lose. I'm glad we lost a "oh no lets play safe game"

Play not to lose? Scored a TD and a game tying 2pt conversion. Then got burned trying to live by the blitz.

Seriously, how you haven't been banned is absurd. You're Retard level unbearable.

We want wins! I don't care if the QB throws for under two hundred yard. Win and play to win. Penalties are embarrassing. They must lead the league!

Another shit thread from another shit poster.

But...there is a point in this. Soft coaching lost us this game.

We're 8th in # of penalties, 7th in penalty yards. We had 12 penalties this game. That's 91 yards we just gave up. You don't giftwrap your opponent basically one full field drive and expect to win a game.

And you don't give them a second chance on a missed FG- that was a true spirit crusher.

Ag69 had already thrown his best curse at Lambo's first, game-winning attempt... had nothing left for the second.

Only thing I'll say is T.Williams got his penalty trying to make a play. That's more than can be said for the bulk of our penalties.

Good point Tour. Still you want the players being smart and aggressive. This penalty if it didn't cost the Browns the game it did cost them the opportunity to win the game in overtime.

It was supremely arrogant of me to think I could single-handedly lift the Browns curse for one fucking play. I squandered it. Should have saved it for the 2017 draft to get Myles Garrett who will be as good or better than our other Aggie star, Von Miller.

Listening to the Fan, a caller made another good point about our front office. I thought we had a good coordinator with Shanahan. Now, he's gone. Atlanta is on Fire. Scoring running and passing TD's. We have 1 rushing TD. Granted, I don't think we have the personnel that Atlanta has nor the weapons, so what does that tell you?

Our offense did pretty good yesterday, hard to criticize them too much after yesterday and it's important to note the Browns biggest weapon is Travis Benjamin.

Shanahan didn't want to be here, regardless.

shanny wanted to somewhere else, where he knew he had a place...

where there was a truck load of talent.

Stop the whining and the whining. Seriously.

Atlanta has Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Roddy White and Devonta Freeman.

We have Josh McCown, Dwayne Bowe, Brian Hartline and Isaiah Crowell.

I see your point, we should be scoring just as much as them.

everyone hated shanahan's play calling last year and most were happy when he decides to leave. now that he has some talent to work with he's a genius? quinne? arians? you just named 2 coordinators who have won dick as HCs.

Not to mention, I don't think there's anything wrong with the offensive playcalling when we put 27 points on the board yesterday.

Defensive playcalling....now that is a whole nother story..

pschyzophrenic is what i call o'neill's d playcalling. first couple of series the browns were showing exoctic schemes and the blitzes were working. then he has the d fall back into it's regular lame look?

c'mon man!

I think some of you miss the point (even after acknowledging that we dont have the talent that Atlanta does). Why didn't Shanahan work? What was the issue there? After reading, listening, digesting, the issues all point to failures in the front office. And, now, going into season 2 with this regime, it's not getting better.

sure there has been some major fails from the front office but show me 5 teams that have consistently hit on first rounders?

half you complainers loved the TR pick. or how about you geniuses "we have to trade everything for RG3!"? where are you little fuckers now? i knew clowney would be a bust. i knew winston would be a bust.

shit ain't easy. if it was walter would be a GM.

He didn't like the low level of authority he had and wanted more playmakers. Ray Farmer won't add a WR to this team, Shanahan wanted one. That's probably the main reason - he was worried his system wouldn't work without a talented #1 WR and a talented QB.
