That is pretty funny how you make your picks, so Cleveland ends up in first and the Steelers last. Not going to happen!

Baltimore is mess, and Cincinnati is playing well! Although the Browns might win their game, the Steelers win big, because they are most definitely the better team in that match up.

Your hatred of the Steelers is not enough for your ridiculous picks to come true!

Week 2 Results ... Prev ... This .. YTD

Straight-up ........... 2-2 ..... 3-1 ... 5-3

Vs. the spread ..... 1-3 ..... 3-1 ... 4-4

Been back and forth on all these games this week save one...

But here is where I weigh anchor...

Pittsburgh @ St. Louis (+1.0)

I really, really want to pick StL in this strength vs strength, weakness vs. weakness match-up, but no....

Pittsburgh's #1 ranked O is too damn strong and now they get Bell back. Meanwhile StL's D, while good and the strength of their team, is not insurmountable having allowed 27.5 ppg, an average in the bottom quartile of the league. Give the strength edge to PTG.

On the other hand PTG's token D is now Shazier-less due to him being who we thought he'd be... hurt. But the StL O is not only just not that good, it's 2nd last in the league. And their RB return is being couched in such trepidation that it is palpable.

Bottom line: PTG outscores another opponent...

Prediction: PTG 44 StL 27

Cincinnati @ Baltimore (-2.5)

Big one here since it is a "Zombo Rules Double"... pressure is on.

Here my struggle did not involve what I wanted to do, but my gut vs. my head.

Gut said: "BLT is due. Home Opener. Dalton has to start returning to the norm sometime."

Head said: "CIN is the most balanced AFCN team. You doubted it Week 1 and paid the price. Learn. Besides you picked BLT to finish 4th in the AFCN and that was before they lost Suggs."

If size were the determining factor, then my gut would easily win, but apparently my head has more stamina and won out.

Predicion: CIN 30 BLT 17

Oakland @ Cleveland (-3.5)

And yet a 3rd struggle... my fan-loyal heart vs. my AFCN prognosticating head...

As a Browns fan, I have to pick the Raiders. Two weeks into 2015 I have picked the opposite of the result twice. I'm 0-2 in our games making the Browns 1-1 in real life. So I have to pick the Raiders if we've any hope of seeing 2-1.

But my head... Everything I have looked at in this game tells me we win. Yes, the O is close, and I give OAK the edge in the passing game. However, overall we are significantly closer to CIN than we are BLT as a team, and CIN won easily while BLT narrowly lost. Add that Crow is developing a running rhythm and I expect a game from him worthy of me picking him off waivers and starting him this week in the Browns' Board Points League.

So what to do?

As Tom Cruise said when asked, "What if I'm attacked by an Alpha?" prior to Edge of Tomorrow's climactic battle, "You take one for the team."

Hopefully "taking one" with conviction is optional...

Prediction: OAK 24 CLE 20

Wait a minute....Didn't you say the same thing about the 49ers? Yes, I think you did, by your absurd prediction last week. Wow, thanks, you pretty much assured a Steeler victory with that logic!

GumAss? On the defense already......I love it......When you can't back up your logic with knowledge revert to name calling.

I just picked the 49ers to fuck with you idgets.

The Rams really are better.

And, ummmm, you went on the defensive first. Why is every single one of you so stupid? How can that be? I mean, the Rooneys are from Pittsburgh, and they seem like smart people ... so why is every single fan a mouth-breathing, short busser with missing teeth and limited vocabulary? Is it just that WV-SW Pa Pennsyltucky inbred thing? Or did the government do testing to stunt intellectual growth to all the appalachian hillbilly possum-eaters because they figured they weren't much use anyway?

Defensive first? If stating an opinion is defensive, then you got me on that one! All the other insults you wrote I will chalk upto pure unadulterated jealousy of the Steelers!

Good, now that you are not just,"fucking around with the Steeler fans", I can take it as you really believe the Rams are better. You won't be able to hide behind your inane prediction this time!

I even wrote your team has a chance to win, I never ever make predictions on hate alone, I am a realist. You on the other hand pines for the day the Browns can be relevant in the division.

That would be awsome, can't deny that, but I'd rather have the talent spread throughout the team! Two on the defensive line and two on the offensive line, sounds good to me.

Hell, I don't care what round they are drafted as long as they produce. If you are a Browns fan you should know that 1st round picks mean little if they don't produce. The Rams were shredded last week even with all those picks on the line!

yes they were and i do know. just saying if we were to compare teams on paper i'd kinda be leaning towards st. louis, except when your rb isn't suspended for smoking blunts or your wr has ball itch.

if the steelers were so much better then why is vegas only giving the rams 1 point?

Who care what Vegas has to say, they do what they do and collect money no matter what happens. We have have the number one running back coming back tomorrow, and even without him we have the best offense in the league.

Bell served his two game suspension, and now the Steelers offense will be that much better! The Steelers are going up against a very suspect secondary, and they will be able to throw the ball with ease.

We have the best offense in the league, and a fast defense. They will give up some points, like any young defense would, but this should not be a difficult game for them!

The sad thing for the rest of the league is, we get Bryant back in another two weeks, and then watch out!

Nope, Shittsburgh doesn't have the best offense in the league.

That distinction goes to the N.E. Cheatriots.

you mean that high-powered offense that couldn't beat the patriots?

you just lost all credibility.

nice talking to you junior.

New defensive scheme, young defense. Brady gets rid of the ball crazy fast and we had a lot of miscommunication defensively. (Young defense). Offense didnt have trouble putting points on the board, we just didn't keep that pats off it. I look forward to meeting them in the playoffs. Especially with Bryant and Bell in the line up.

I know zombo trolls in here, its why I never responded but the steelers have the best offense in the league and its about to get better. The defense made plays all game against the Niners and Kap put up yardage in garbage time.

Edit: and no when I say best offense I'm not talking about total yardage. Although with bell and Bryant eventually back they will have the best o statistically.

Wow, you guys are awesome! The Steelers lead the league with 458.5/game. Where do you get your stats?

Yes, we lost to the Patriots? Wow, not at home, not a big deal. I guess you losing to the Jets is even worse. Every team will lose games, we just happened to lose our first one!

I get it now when Cleveland was voted "The worst fan base", it's not that your fans aren't good fans, you just have no idea what reality looks like. Just give up, because you haven't a leg to stand on.

Wow, you are as dumb as SHIT! You do realize that "Best Offense" is described in total yardage by a team, because a defense can score points! It's so easy on this board, I feel bad even posting here! BTW, even if it went by points you couldn't include the Giants since they have played three games. Yes, I said it, you are DUMB as SHIT!

not for nothing, the rams are the better team. you wish you had 7 first round draft picks on both your lines.

I'll take the Rams, only because they're at home. It will be interesting tosee how many "fans" show up, now that it's a given the owner is packing up the moving vans and heading West.

Geez, you sure you're not Vagitron ghosting? We got the best offense- we got the best defense, we got the best running back, we got the damn best backup center in the NFL, Ben can walk on water, yada, yada.

Carr will out duel McCown with Crabtree and Cooper. Latavious Murray will be hard to stop. If Haden is glued to Cooper that gives Crabtree potential to score like last week.

If our defense can pressure Carr and force turnovers the Browns win.

Oakland is a much better team than last year but I give the edge to the Browns. Pettine has said he still wants running back by committe

I don't like that.

What will Benji do this week? He and Manzeil were one hot duo.

Browns 28 Oakland 24

Bengals should lose in Baltimore but I Cant see it. AJ Green, Hill, Bernard, Tyler Eifert Marvin Jones should be able to score and Joe Flacco has Steve Smith and Forsett. Not impressed

Bengals win in a close one

The Rams are getting better but Big Ben can hand the ball to Leveon Bell all day long with Antonio catching at least two touchdowns.

I hope I'm wrong but I think Bengals go to 3-0

As for the Cleveland, the Raiders give up a lot of yardage to the run. But if we play from behind Browns will abandon the run and McCown will be forced to throw. Oakland will pressure McCown and he's not mobile. So they better come out swinging like last week against Tennessee.

Who,will McCown be throwing to? One thing for sure McCown could have never completed those bombs to Benjamin.

We do have the best offense, we do have the best running back and Ben probably can walk on water. I was joking about Cody Wallace and the defense is a work in progress but already much improved from week 1. *high five*

After walking all over 2 rape victims, Pittsburgh's messiah can also walk on 3 polluted rivers. Meanwhile, on another suspension Goodell cut short for his good buddy Rooney's bottom line - Bell can play ball again. Even better, he delayed Bell's suspension by a calendar year so Rooney could problem solve the absence with DeAngelo Williams in the offseason. That's why Vag is posting while wearing out the batteries on the vibrator.

Too bad since you are currently #1 in YPG and #3 in PPG...

As for your D... child please, if you use SF's Offense as your measuring stick, then you are in trouble.

Your 2014 reality is that your O has to top the league as the Steeler game plan can only be to outscore their opponents... and that's with Shazier in there.
