Tour2ma Posted April 19, 2017 Report Share Posted April 19, 2017 Lies in public, if not to the public, not only by President Trump (nothing new there) and Spicey (also nothing new), but also McMaster and Maddis, who are supposed to be the straight shooters. So who were they lying to? North Korea... who could give a shit. Us? Why would they? The President? Hmmmm.... Thought crossed my mind that President Trump may have been musing about ways to muscle up on North Korea with his Nat Sec Adv and SoD and mentioned that sending "an armada" might be the way to go. M&M might even have said "we could do that," and parted never having been given an "order" by their Commander in Chief. Then later as cooler heads, knowing that the provocation of sending a strike group in the Sea of Japan was a bad idea, they never gave any such orders (or orders that were to be waylaid) and just played along choosing to put themselves out there on TV with their President. Seems ridiculous for any normal Whitehouse... but If we've learned nothing else in the first 88(?) days, it's that this Whitehouse is far from normal. I even tried switching Trump and Obama's names. Both of whom have equal military experience so I have no reason to mistrust the defense department now. If this is more than a case of lighting a bag of poop ringing the doorbell and running can you tell me in your own words why this would upset you?
