Super Bowl

Did I say that? Fuck no.

Good.

As I said, my whole perspective is not really "anti-Patriot". It is just that I like fresh blood. The Pats have had plenty of success, and with the Red Sox winning 3 times....and the Celtics winning, and the Bruins winning all since 2000 the Boston area has had its share of success. Atlanta has never won anything but one title in that cities entire history (Braves 1995) I would just like to see that fresh face among the winners. Plus, it would be nice to have a new megastar annointed....if Matt Ryan can carry it off.

I mean, if the Cavs can win their first title, and the Cubs can win their first one since 1908....why buck the trend of having a new winner.

If I was then you FAILED

By what measure? PB/Otto went to 11 championship games, won 7. BB and TB will now have gone to 7. Won 4 so far.

And don't give me BS about the competition being easier. It really was not.

And if their competition was so easy....why then has NO ONE ever even come close to the PB/OG mark?

If BB/TB do win this game, it will tie them with Bart Starr and Vince Lombardi.

So, the question of what is the best QB/HC duo in history, well, by objective measures:

A. Terry Bradshaw/Chuck Noll won 4 titles.

B. Sid Luckman/George Halas won 4.

C. Lombari/Starr won 5.

D. Brown/Graham won 7.

Lets put it this way....just like arguments over the QB GOAT, I think the thing that you can say is that it is a group photo, and these guys are in the picture.

Dude I can live with your love for terrorists, street thugs and brutal communist dictators but sucking Steeler dick is beyond the pale.

If the Patriots were allowed a 106 man roster and were allowed to field two teams I'd rather they both went to the Superbowl than ever see the Steelers there again.

WSS

Well said. Anyone on this board should be a Steeler hater first and foremost.

What do the Pats do that is obnoxious?

I was referring to the NE USA fans in general (yes I know about generalizations but sometimes they can help explain some things).

The Yank$, Red Sox and more recently Pats fans kind of represent the "East Coast Bias".

And yes for example if my teams won I'd be happy but I don't think Cavs and now Indians fans are particularly obnoxious.

"fucking SB with the pats in it" = I hate watching great football...

This is going to be epic a la the Pats vs. The Greatest Show on Turf.

I guess I dont see the bias.

If Brady and Belichick were in Cleveland that town would be the center of the NFL universe.

Ever hear of the predominant East and West Coast biases and screw the Midwest? With the Midwest starting just west of Philly.

.....oh B&B would still need more help here now.

I live in Patriots country and I have a lot of respect for the team. The fans, however, are ridiculously spoiled. I hear them cry about the dumbest things. The next Pats fan who complains about how 'poorly' they played in a win is going to get a smack from me.

You sound a Steeler fan.

You say you are a Pats fan? I didn't know that Pats fans were as stupid as Steeler fans.

EVERY motherfucker on the planet think, no...knows that the Pats have been cheaters. Only Pats fans are in denial about that.

Congratulations, you have just earned the silver medal in the "Stupid Fans of the NFL" Steeplechase for New England fans. You ran a great anchor leg.

You wouldn't now would you, silver medalist?

Cleveland IS the center of the NFL universe. The NFL was founded in Northeast Ohio, and more championships have been won by teams here than anywhere else. (tied with Green Bay)
