Speak American

I missed the part where she tries to correct herself.

but I agree with her. I don't mind spanish, but when someone isn't able

to speak English and wants to move here.... learn English dammit.

Of course, Woody doesn't like English. Not science, you know.

So, people trying to move to a country should be able to speak that country's language, in time. Of course not immediately, but to be able to have a basic level conversation - "hi, where can I find tomatoes? when comes bus? which direction statue of liberty? etc" - in a year is completely doable even without tuition.

Then you get people who move to England and don't even attempt to learn the language - after 20 years still not speaking the language is unforgivable.

I see you completely missed the joke here haha

Is the joke 'Sarah Palin's stoopid?' because that's kind of old. Why do we care what she says anymore? She's not running for anything, right?

she'll be heading up the dept of energy if Trump wins, let that one soak in for a moment. Breathe in the human condition that someone like her could actually theoretically be running the worlds greatest superpower's energy dept. Breathe in the ridiculousness for just a moment, and realize we're right back to the Roman empire again when the worst of the worst began to slowly take control.

Because "he speaks him mind, I like it!" is code for "he's a bigot like me" and there are plenty of those out there. Probably about 30-40% of the base. Which might get him the nomination, but will only translate to about 20% of the wider populous.

I think Trump's success so far has been more of the base being frustrated with the establishment republicans. Too many republicans say one thing to get elected but when they get to Washington they don't follow through on their promises such as on immigration or Obamacare.

I don't doubt that's a big piece of it, for sure, and for that I'm glad he's running - some accountability in your politicians is never a bad thing.

To a liberal a bigot is anyone who doesn't think like them. Which makes them bigots.

and to republicans anyone that doesn't think like them is a god less secular progressive who ceaselessly works to bring an Islamic caliphate to the U.S...despite being "godless". I know that makes no sense but that's republican logic. You literally are the pot calling the kettle black.

Where do you 'work'? I want to report you for obviously fucking off too much.

There is no wisdom or education in Cleve's posts. Just angry hot air, and personal attacks.

Very, very lacking in any kind of ability to persuade about his point. He has nothing to back up

his emotional bashing.

That's probably not far off. Luckily though that group isn't enough to win an election.

Well that's not really true but it is the way the left wing media spins it and people like you are happy to accept.

No one should support illegal immigration. That's just the way it is but speak out against it and you're called a bigot. No one should support other countries sending the dregs of society from their prisons to the United States but speak out against it and you're a bigot. Castro did that thousands of prisoners being sent to the United States. Are you standing up for that?

And even though I won't vote for him in the primary I can't see that Hillary Clinton is a stellar choice.

She's a miserable liar and not as charismatic as her husband another Miserables liar.

So I would advise the left is not to get erections over a Hillary vs Trump race.

I agree with Steve here.

I can't see Trump being President, and I also DON"T want to see Hillary as president either

If I had to pick between the 2, I'd go for Trump.

But then again, I can just not vote for either

I'd go for Hillary of the two, but that's really not an inspiring choice. I'd much rather see Bernie Sanders, but I don't even think he'd make a good president. At this point, I'm struggling to see anyone of any merit.

I hope Hillary pulls out because of the email business, because if not she'll win the nomination and just continue to do the same as all the career politicians, dem or rep.
