I've never bought snopes.Com as any sort of authority in the fact checking world. It irks me that people are dumb enough to lean on a website to check their facts for them and use it as an ultimate source no questions asked. "Well it must be true. Snopes.Com says it is"

In a fantastic segment tonight, Mark Levin went nuclear on Andrea Mitchell for suggesting that the Republican voters, especially the white men, are the angry voters. Mitchell was asking if they could be converted to Hillary of if Trump has some innate appeal to these angry voters.

Levin interrupted the audio of Mitchell saying he’s that he’s sick of this, pointing out that he saw people of all colors at the Democrat Convention this week that were “yelling, screaming, burning, breaking, attacking!”

Levin argues that white voters may be angry but:

They’re not rioting, they’re not burning things! They sure as hell aren’t burning the American flag!

They’re not running around with the Palestinian flag! They’re not running around with the Communist North Korean flag!

This woman is an idiot!

Most women I know who have had abortions have a very hard time with their conscience afterwards. This is a dirty little secret the pro abortion crowd doesn't want to be made known...so what better than to have a woman with no conscience go out and speak of the benefits of her abortion...of aborting that unwanted inconvenience.

Remember all those American flags onstage during the first night of the Democrat convention?

Me neither. That Democrats are allergic to the bars and stripes isn’t really a surprise. That being said, however, they did scramble to toss up a few token shows of patriotism for the second night.

 

The first-night snub of Old Glory was not missed, and the move was widely panned.

According to the Daily Caller, however, myth-busting site, Snopes.com, rushed to do damage control and stop the internet reports of that America-less first night.

 

First, the facts. TheDC reported on Monday about the lack of visible American flags at day one of the convention. Several flags were briefly on stage for the national anthem and pledge of allegiance, at which point they were carried off stage, as the C-SPAN video for Monday clearly shows at the 35:40 mark. Even PolitiFact, which tends to lean to the left, noted that “when the color guard left, so did the physical flag.” After that point, the stage was devoid of any American flags for the remainder of day one.

 

As reported by TheDC, the DNC added flags to the stage for the second day of the convention — Tuesday, July 26. That same day, Snopes writer Dan Evon wrote a “fact-check” article declaring it “false” that: “No American flags were on display at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.”

 

Evon offered as proof A) a screenshot from PBS’ coverage of day one, taken during the pledge of allegiance — before the flags were removed — and B) the below screenshot of C-SPAN’s day two coverage (visible at the 6:36 markhere) and claimed it was from day one of the convention. In fact, Mallory Weggemann — the paralympic swimmer who gave Tuesday’s pledge of allegiance — can be seen sitting in her wheelchair as the flag-bearers walk past her.

 

Snopes apparently took several shots at pushing the false narrative of the Democrats’ show of Americana from the first night forward; all disproven.

Just keep that in mind when you’re searching for facts from Snopes. The information given may likely be colored by their political leanings, so proceed with caution.

 

Nite one had one on the right hand side of the stage... I know I saw it... before the controversy erupted. I even remember thinking it was under-illuminated. It was just outside the right edge of the DC photo in the originally posted article.

 

Nite two I saw more flags, 8 in all with 4 to each side of the stage. More by design or in reaction to the controversy? I don't know... but I do know that the number again grew Nite 3 and by nite four every delegate had one suggestion a progression in the number displayed as the convention wrapped itself in them ever more tightly.

 

 

OBF, I've enjoyed our exchanges. Keep on questioning...

I'm shocked it took you this long to figure that out. Notice how some of your more insightful posts were willfully ignored? Let's be honest, these guys need woody,Chris and Cleve if not it would be the same circle jerk of 3-5 posters at most literally repeating the same stuff.

Democratic Reverend: White Male Christians, Not Muslims, Should Apologize For Terrorism "It is clearly white male Christians that are doing this kind of violence.”

 

The Daily Caller reports that a religious leader said yesterday at the Democratic National Convention that white Christian males like himself should be the ones apologizing for terrorism, not his "Muslim friends." Speaking on a four-person panel to an audience of more than one hundred people, Rev. Ron Stief, the executive director of the National Religious Campaign Against Torture, said “I’m tired of my Muslim friends having to be the ones having to stand up and say,‘Hey we are not terrorists. It doesn’t have anything to do with our religion.'”

 

 

“If you look at the hate crimes that are being committed in this country and all the violence that is being done against Muslim people, Sikhs, folks of south Asian descent it is clearly white male Christians that are doing this kind of violence."

He didn't provide any examples of "all the violence" he claims is being committed in this country against Muslims, Sikhs, and South Asians. Nor did he bother to explain why, if terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, the Muslims increasingly committing massacres in the United States, Europe and around the world proudly insist that it does, and can cite chapter and verse of the Quran as justification for their mayhem.

 

“If anybody needs to be apologizing for violence in this country it does need to be American white Christians,” he added.

No, if anybody needs to be apologizing for terroristic violence in this country and elsewhere it's those who claim allegiance to ISIS and shout "Allahu akbar" just prior to going on shooting sprees, ramming trucks into crowds, slitting the throats of Catholic priests at the altar, torturing and mutilating captives, setting off suicide bombs, hacking train passengers with axes, driving cars into pedestrians on sidewalks, and on and on. Christians and other innocents are the victims, not the perpetrators, of such incomprehensible evil, and owe no one an apology.

 

Referring to slavery and lynching in America's past, “all places where torturing was a key component of life for whites against African Americans,” Stief said, “If you go back in history you can double down on my claims ten times over.” Stief didn't explain what this has to do with Islamic terrorism or with violence against Muslims, Sikhs, and South Asians.

 

Of course, one doesn't have to go back into the past to find that slavery, lynching, and terrorism are still alive in well in many Muslim countries, but nowhere in Christian territories. But if Stief wants to go back in history, he will find 1400 years of examples of terrorism carried out in the name of Islam which, unlike the extremely rare modern instances of terrorism committed by American white male Christians, continues today.

He's been on that diet for years. Its probably the only reason he's still alive. He was looking "very" frail about 3-4 years ago. My dad caught it right away cause some of his friends who had passed had the same look about them.

I put nothing past the Clintons - it's reasonable speculation to think something's wrong with him given that Bill looks like he's gone to shit the last few years.

 

Shaking hands is an early sign of Parkinsons, but I believe Bill has denied that before.

Announcing some kind of terminal illness in something - help Hillary gain pity vote in the election.

He has aged bad. Could be the genes, or could be something bad. Remember he had heart bypass surgery a few years ago. Not that that has anything to do to vote for the crooked bitch.
