This would be enough for several people, or for a couple of days. Leatherneck's World-Famous SOS Recipe1 1/2 pounds extra lean hamburger or ground chuck2 tbsp. oleo or butter1 cup chopped onion3 tbsp. flour2 tsp. granulated garlic2 tbsp. soy sauce (or less to taste)1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce2 cups milksalt and pepper to tastesliced breadBrown the meat, then drain. Add oleo. Stir in the onions and cook until you can see through them. Add flour, stir and cook two to three minutes. Add garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and mix thoroughly. Add milk and stir until it thickens. Serve over buttered toast with eggs.
