THE BROWNS BOARD

I'm thankful for.....

Canton Mike

Recommended Posts

...the fact that, at my age, I am still an exuberant, passionate, & healthy Cleveland Browns Fan.

Being a person who believes in accepting that which I can't change & after the events of the last few days, I have decided that I need to "get back to basics" as a Fan. The hell with getting angry over who is drafted, drafting, playing, sitting, coaching, cut, injured, etc. I am getting back to supporting anyone who is a part of my beloved Browns, whether they are off or on the field. I intend to be the more positive person I normally am & appreciate the fact that we all will disagree at times, but we share a common bond & that is The Cleveland Browns. We are Blessed to have our Team. Many in the world would love to be in our shoes.

Happy Thanksgiving, my Friends. Have a healthy, safe day & GO BROWNS!

I am thankful that I have lived long enough that my grandchildren will remember me fondly someday when they have grandchildren of their own. Attending the unexpected funeral of my 41 y.o. niece Tuesday was a reminder of how precious and fleeting life can be. May my nephew and his teenage stepson understand on this day how thankful they are to have one another to make it through together with God's help. Amen and God bless you all.

TA, I am sorry for your loss. Prayers going out to your family.

BTW, talking about Grandchildren, here is a treasured facebook post by my daughter (Tori is one of my 7 Grandkids)...Tori just asked me this - "Mommy, did you know when we were born that we would have the best Grandpa in the whole world?" ......Stuff like that is truly priceless.

Sorry to hear that TA, we unfortunately had to bury my 15 month old niece in 2013, that was a stark, and dark, example of how fleeting life can be.

All the best to you and your family.

So much to be THANKFUL for.

In addition to the local grocery, where I had to go to get

a a few loaves of bread for dressing and more root beer....

and I came home to start making pumpkin pies...and I didn't

have much ginger and ground cloves left.

So, I borrowed some from our neighbor, and I go to mix

it up, and just realized I had broken my Wife's electric mixer with my

last batch of cookies.....

and now I'm thankful I can go to kmart and buy her another one.

Have a great, great Thanksgiving, everybody, with football and all the great food ! Stupid black and decker.... lol

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I am thankful that so many of us are still together after all these years and that we have added so many great regulars as we go along.

Someday the team will reward our passion and loyalty.

Some day.

Let's fuck up Baltimore.

I WILL be at the game Monday, but no tailgate for us. It's my 69th Birthday Monday, my Wife, Daughter, & Son in Law are taking me to dinner. Since the "young ones" both teach, we can't stay late either.

We are in section 536, row 19, seats 25 & 26 on the west aisle. Stop over & we'll get a beer or drink. Shoot me a PM or call me. Z, I think you have my number, but if any going want or need it, just shoot me a message.

Hope to see you there!

I'd have your number, maybe we can hook up at the stadium. Sitting in Club Seats with Atenears (Stan), Roach (Ed) and Pavo Joe (Mike).
