Well, treat it like we do alcohol then. Probably 50% of the violence in America is in gang wars over illicit drug dealing. Make the dealing legal, and a lot of that violent behavior becomes unwarranted and unnecessary. Sure, people are still going to be stupid and do bad/dumb things, just like they still do with booze. "possession"...which technically we're already there legally in several states if he had residency and was just owning it and not partaking it there is a way to have been in the US right now and do this totally legally, and not some rare loophole...like he could have this easily in one of those states. just not smoke until his job allows. it blows my mind how different the states can be. they are really like their own little countries in essense.
