Love me some Brian Hoyer

once again you flabby piece of shit.

anything more negatory, any more little digs at the team you supposedly support?

yeah there's a lot of blame to go around today but you are just consistently a fucking little cunnie. just STFU already.

Oh well. Too bad the money issue came up this week. It was already pressure enough playing in front of JFF. Add in future pay scale and any normal person might have caved just as badly.

Seriously? I actually think I prefer the open fanboys to your passive-aggressive BS...

Because I love this team I am negative, with all the "real" fans cheering for every dumbass move as piece of shit product they put on the field why would they ever change?

BTW I did give props to Gilbert today, he played solid.

Browns Fans self esteem is so low that we are 3-3 with wins over teams that are a combined 7-12 (none with a winning record) and Hoyer is sub 60% completion (lowest % by any starter in the league who has started every game) and has 7 TDs (lowest total by any starter in the league that has played every game), and Browns fans want to sign him for 5 years.

If Hoyer was the starter on the Cowboys there is not a single fan, nor talking head on TV that wouldn't be screaming for his benching IMMEDIATELY. They expect a lot more.

Browns fans just are happy he can tie his shoes and doesn't throw underhand INTs. Hoyer so far has accomplished that, and thus must be worth big money.

saw that and you are correct.

hate losing when you know the team you root for is better than the victors. (unless bortles and the jags resurrect some type of 9 win season after this).

i've tried so hard this year to keep my inner walters aside from opinions, trying to look at things with a positive spin. BUT with what happenned today, IMO, is inexcusable. sure we have losses on our lines as do most teams this time of year, but to get pushed around and look as dumb as a rock?

fuck ghoulie and everyone that says the linemen are wasted picks. if i had it my way we'd draft every OLmen out of wisconsin 2 deep every year and every DLmen out of the best SEC school 2 deep every year as well.

Brian Hoyer will not be re-signed here for any large amount of money.

He completely shit the bed today.

If our o-line is going to be this suspect, you need to start Manziel for the mobility factor alone.

The last person I expected to flop on hoyer between games.

In a passing league that the NFL has become the "trenches" are becoming more important.

O LINE O LINE O LINE in the next draft

WR first then OL OL.

how many years left does JT have? mack return being the player he was is questionable. bitonio looks promising and schwratz proved me wrong. but the rest of the guards and our depth is scary bad. and 2-3 DLmen go down that people call shite and every team in the league runs over us like a track meet.

You're right...

We are beyond hope...

You can not save us, but you can save yourself...

Run... run while you can...

We do not deserve you.

Thank you... I took a no troll pledge for a week and was being severely tested...

if any of you guys are getting the gints/dallas feed....is it me or does our (browns) linemen look soooo much smaller than these guys?

Not going to discount the "mik factor" altogether... as that is never wise... but we probably are smaller. At least two starters, Greco and Schwartz, lost weight to get quicker for the zone scheme.

Hoyer shit the bed today, never seen that many throws behind receivers. That being said JFF would be worse at this point. Hoyer gets a bad game here and there. If it keeps up we'll have a discussion about JFF. As it stands, Hoyer needs to look at his play today and then STFU about ANY TALK WHATSOEVER about not wanting to sign if JFF is here. If you're an NFL qb you don't give a fuck who they have behind you..you don't whine about a draft pick and try to strongarm the team into having a shitty backup that ensures your starting job.

Tour2 ya gotta admit as far as the QB position is concerned the bar is kinda low. Season success is also not a big evaluation issue for Browns fans. There is almost a battered fan affect that seems to be part of being a Browns fan, as a group we are expected to strive for mediocrity and except garbage. Very similar to Cubs fans.

Browns have played the #22 (twice), #32,#14,#21,and #27 ranked Pass Defenses this year (per football outsiders). Hoyer has NO 300 yard games, lowest Comp % of QBs who have started every game, lowest TDs of QBs who have started every game.

Explain that to me. You can say "Oh well we're a running team so of course he wouldn't have yards or TDs we don't throw much" then how is his Comp % so awful?

List me what starting NFL QBs Hoyer is better than right now. Who is his comp?

All your numbers are correct but to be fair he is at worst 20-24 in the league right now.

Thats fine. I counted 25th, but is that your franchise guy?

Cut 3 times, older, inaccurate QB who has exceeded all expectations this year, playing at his personal best, and is still only the 20-24th best QB starting right now?

Thats who you want to hitch your wagon to?

Browns fans are 10 times more in love with the Hoyer Story than they are the Hoyer reality.

The bar is right where it should be. A QB that fits the personality of the team and produces wins.

Back when we thought we had a top ten D we thought the personality requirement was a game manager. Turned out the D was not what we thought (or hoped) it was.

Instead BH proved to be just what our ground oriented O needed... a PAP'er-deluxe, game manager.

Today's game was simply beyond management...

... apparently it was also beyond coaching.

As for season success... we got a little carried away with the limited 2014 success we enjoyed prior to today.

It's happened before.

It'll happen again.

I would agree if I thought the Browns were a QB away. I do believe with all but the top 5 guys Manning, Luck, Brady, Brees and #5 we would still be 3-3.

I guess that's my point, we should want Andrew Luck, instead we want Alex Smith. Nothing wrong with Alex Smith but he's not winning a SuperBowl in our lifetime. Guys like Smith only win Superbowls when they are in the Dilfer situation when you are strong across the board and legedary on D.

Hey, I'm on a remote today. I agree- Hoyer was beyond putrid today- like Brandon Wee-Done bad. Sure, he deserves a lot of the blame for the loss. But there's plenty of that to spread around. How 'bout that forth down fiasco? How about Poyer muffing the punt when he should have let it go into the end zone?

tour he was great in the tavern today, actually defending hoyer when he prob should have let hoyer get sent to the dawgs........

but when you get enough nudging and enough fuel all it takes is that one spark and you're back to being that same old hater, racist or crook.

stockton is not a bad guy, i can tell but in the end he'll always be a guy that joined this board because of manziel. not a bad reason at all. but if you got one bullet, one shot who would you think he'd take out? (no stats or reasons withstanding.)
