Honestly, he presents the facts statistically. I agree with him in a lot of aspects. The thing that statistics don't record is your ability to have a terrible game, erase all that and go out and engineer a game winning drive. If we had Aaron Rogers, we'd be 10-1. But we don't, we have Brian Hoyer and are 7-4. Still in contention. We do need a better QB, or Hoyer to play better. But I think Hoyer is what he is. Once we fall out of contention, yank Hoyer. But as long as we're in it we might as well not shake up the locker room by switching leaders.

I think he is a Browns fan, just has a different perspective. Put him on ignore if he annoys you. You all should be talking about the great win instead of stalking a specific poster.

He isn't a browns fan. He's stated before he doesn't want to see us win given our situation.

Don't ban him, he at least talks about the Browns, just limit him to starting only one new damn thread a week so we don't have to sort through all his whining.

I think he whines more than Lumbergh did...

And honestly, he is a troll, so best way to piss him off is to stop feeding him..

You clearly do not understand the concept of stalking...

I guess that's a good thing though...

Brian hoyer is a great QB, yes I said great, and I'm goin to leave it at that. Played like poop, then that resilience to lead ANOTHER game winning drive beautifully. He came out and was frustrated with himself post game, excited to see what he does next week. Oh yea, can an administrator please kick this Stockton guy out? When is 'enough is enough'? This is getting ridiculous

that needs to be saved and posted when talking about raeplisberger.

stockton needs medication, that's all. and with treatment he can learn to live amongst the rest of the people that question their sexuality in this society.

no wait. maybe he can just join a cult where they give up all worldly goods and go into retreat wearing a silk robe and beads which are all purpose? maybe he can start his own cult? yeah the sans brian hoyer cult. he can invoke an anti-hoyer chant hourly while praying to uranus.

I think he's a Browns fan. Something got jumbled along the way though. It's pretty evident he cares more about the failure of one guy than the success of our team, just for the sake of being right, l guess.

It's disheartening, really. He's a smart guy, and l'd love to hear his perspective on many other aspects of the game and revel in the successes of the team with him, but his agenda trumps all.

If you really think that, which he's not by any means, what kind of contract would you offer him?

I'd start at around 10 mil a year, if I had to I'd go to 12.5. Much higher than that then hello johnny

you are way too nice of a guy.

i don't know what kind of bullshit deflector you're wearing but mine wore out about 3 days into the first of many stockton rants. the is no conversation there. he doesn't hear you. he's a friggin devil robot placed on earth to make people jump off buildings and throw themselves in front of buses. sorta like the plants and trees in that m. night shylaman bomb of a flick 'the happening'.

hahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahaha 10 million a year? LOL dude you're fucking nuts.

And why would you give Manziel a contract? He already has one on the cheap dummy

Yes, 10 million a year for hoyer. I'd be ecstatic to keep him at that price. And what the hell do you mean about manziel? No kidding he's already under contract ....

I like Brian Hoyers attitude, I like the fact he's considered a leader, and a hometown guy thats won some games for us.

He will not get that kind of money, period. His agent is going to push him to get that, but he won't get it here.

He's currently last in completion percentage and in the bottom half of QB rating with only 11 TD's, he's not getting top 15 money, sorry. They look at every little factor when millions of dollars are at stake.

I would like to see him resigned if he can improve down the stretch on a short term deal but if you expect some 5 year +60 million contract, it's not going to be here.

I'd like to see Hoyer play good for 2-3 years before so we don't have a Matt Shuab, Matt Flynn, Derek Anderson type situation.

Giving huge contract to players based off 1 season isn't smart football management

I don't know where the browns front office guys' heads are at with the QB situation. I'm telling you what I'd do. And like I've said multiple times, I don't give a rats ass what stats tell you, stats are inconsistent and don't tell you all that much when they're relative to other players. I can give you Matt cassels stats in New England and his stats in minny and ask you which QB you think is better. See how this doesn't work? Stats are for autistics. I see what we have in hoyer with his intangibles and mentality. He played like complete poop today, abd him stepping it up again to clean up his mess and lead another game winning drive gave me even more faith in him. Did you see joe Thomas' and josh Gordon's quotes after the game? His teammates love him and believe in him.
