Milk I agree we don't need to hear any more shit references. Being the resident graphic artist why don't you design something cool and get back with us? (like i said before we should have a tshirt design contest....not necessarily graphics but the best, funniest, wittiest sayings to throw on some tees). was going to do beanies this year. they had a close-out on grey beanies at an unbelievable price but i slept on it. it was a close-out sale and now to find something equal to it wasn't feasible considering i'd have it embroidered front and back. also i'm caught up in NYcomiccon now. i have a friend doing a startup plus 2 other people that need shit done for the oct 9-12th convention. then i have my regular local 3 guys wanting shirts for the army vs. fordham game and my best client who's a plumber needs his winter gear for his staff. and i'm retired so... i'd love to get everyone's feedback, do a shirt or hat design dedicated to this site and i'd do it at cost and let the guys here sell on the site or give them away. was hoping to make it to the game with my daughter but unfortunately (not for us) she went to the winner last week and i had planned on it being this week's ultimate tailgate party. (scenes of getting out of limo with a case of latour, cohibas and some drunk NY pals coming to have a blast with everyone i know but don't know on here....maybe some strippers too). i'm an easy bugger. and i love my compatriots! btw resident artist is not true. i've seen a lot of stuff from some young guns here that would blow my shit out of the water. thing is i can produce and print it. let's do it. I fucking love it. It looks modern and unique. I love our team's storied history but it's time to rip off the rear view mirror as Pettine said when he was hired. We need to forge a MODERN identity for the Browns. I think the win this past Sunday was a great start. A modern, rugged looking new uni design will give us the "look" of a new and improved modern CLEVELAND Browns dynasty. Actually, some of those mockups aren't too bad- won't have much choice but to live with Truckin' Jimmuh's decision. And it is his fer sure. However Nike bring the Steelers, Cowboys, an Packers along for the Flair Club ride while you're at it- their uniforms are every bit as dated. Nike's paying the NFL $10s of millions for the uni contract- but that doesn't mean everyone has to agree that what Nike's fashion police think is "cool" and "futuristic" is something that I just have to rush rigth out and buy. I hear there's another team jimmy follows that sometimes uses that scheme noticed theyre wearing new slate grey sweats to travel now. Maybe a glimpse of whats to come. I wonder if they played with a dark brown model? And I liked the inverted stripe... but not the splash in either color. Looks more like the back of the commode after having the shits. Riddell's newest model is even called "SpeedFlex"... How much of a reduction? No idea... no data that I've seen has been published... So do these helmets work? That's still being determined. But VaTech does test and "rate" helmets. In the most recent Virginia Tech helmet ratings, released in May 2013, Riddell had two helmets -- the 360 and Revolution Speed -- rated five stars, two helmets -- the Revolution and Revolution IQ -- rated four stars, and one helmet -- the VSR4 -- rated one star. The project recommends players only wear helmets rated four- or five-stars.
