  1. He took them to the playoffs 2 out of his first 3 years he played. 13-3 his first year lost to Rodgers in the playoffs by a field goal. . And threw 4 picks that season. As a rookie. And he hasn't changed that??? 97 qbr rating doesn't throw a ton of picks says it's more of a team issue than QB. 25 mil is what the going rate for a ring chasing old war horse QB Is, not a young first contract QB. Just so you know Mayfield will get a lot more than that, and he's not on the same level yet.
  2. Couldn't afford him. ESPNs revenue is in the shitters and no one watches them anymore. Don't worry though Disney will save them,LoL!
  3. Here is how I see this. It's odd that a number 15/17 mill is thrown out there right now. I think the offers from the front runners were lower than expected and this came from a team that's not a contender. And this is put out to put pressure on the teams that are front runners. Could be wrong just a first reaction.
  4. What was I supposed to learn? I think he was arguing more with himself than anyone. No one said break the bank. Get him at all costs. Most everyone's feelings were great if we can, no biggie if we can't. Unless I missed interpreted something. I think I even said somewhere, if we do get him I'd grab an additional edge guy with the first pick. Either one of the fellas out of the U. Would work for me.
  5. Looks like a ton of close games that easily could of made them a 8-8 team this year. They got figured out at the end of the year and teams to advantage.
  6. I'd take him over Ben and close on Mayfield. I watched Allen put up some good throws and make some dumb plays as well.
  7. Yep I agree. If they can make it happen great. We don't have to worry about Baker yet and can tag him for a year if needed.
  8. Unfortunately NFL salary crap structures are not as simple as that. They can restructure and create cap space if they feel the need and currently we are sitting better than the rest of the rumored teams to be interested in watt. And I can guarantee I have absolutely hundreds and hundreds of less hours invested in research into the cap. Honestly don't care. It's an utter waste of time, there is more important things to do than to invest time into something you have no control over. If we get him awesome if we don't oh well. But as far as crunching goes we ain't that far off if we want to get him. Crunching numbers to me would be if we were in the negative or only plus a mill or two. Then we would be not having conversations of signing anyone.
  9. I don't see why not. The Steelers are going to be battling it out with the Bengals for last place this year. With some overdue luck and a solid draft this year The browns could be set up for the long term.
