manbrazier - your venting makes no sense. Frothing at the mouth won't buy

you any cred on this board.

Hard core liberals tend not to be my "fellow Americans". They don't care about our

Constitution, our economy, our American principles, ...

they don't care about the right of the unborn and born to live, they demand to be victims,

and be treated with free stuff, a life of relative ease without work or any kind of responsibility

for themselves, Hard core liberals are the "me first, and me only, I want, I want a free ride" generation/subculture.

The best example of this, is you looking in a mirror.

Russia and Israel don't like Obama? Are we really taking those two as bellweathers for the rest of the world in terms of US relations?

BTW, what americans think about what other countries think about Obama isn't really indicative of what other countries think of Obama.

I had to unblock cal to convince myself that he actually did link an ign message board. That's it, i'm going reddit from now on for all my source checking, with a little bit of forchan for good measure when I need to roll out the heavy guns.

jesus H fucking Christ cal don't talk to anyone on this board about "cred" ever again. I really don't know if you had any, but what you might have had is gone now. Even if a message board links through it to something more legit, please don't be so fucking digital lazy that you can't just make ONE FUCKING EXTRA CLICK with your stupid fuckin mouse so you can put down the proper link. What you're doing is copying and pasting your initial google results, which shows you're not quite aware of how google actually works. Here's a clue....we here at the Browns board could start a raucous discussion about "goat fucking aliens", legit goat fucking aliens.....and we use the phrase "goat fucking aliens" a lot in our discussion. Guess what's the #1 google result for "goat fucking aliens". Do you get it now? Doesn't mean goat fucking aliens exist

would have to be in quotes. Goat fuckin aliens, each word on it's own....google will look for them in close prox to each other. So likely would still hit on our brownsboard convo but would also include other sites with those words. If you want to find a bunch of asshats talking specifically about aliens that fuck goats....you have to quotation the whole phrase. Which I havent' done but please don't because my level of respect for humans is already so low I don't want to even know that such a discussion was had anywhere.

BTW, I'm probably uniquely positioned on this board at least to give some insight in to how the world views the US and, I'll be blunt, it ain't pretty. The general view is that of corrupt politicians, "rednecks" that are scared of anything even slightly different (black, gay, mexican, jew, muslim whatever) that keep voting for them, a "shoot/bomb/torture first, ask questions maybe" attitude towards the slightly different things, all underpinned by a fundamental arrogance, and belief that 'america is the greatest! woo!' in every conceivable area.

At a personal level, if you ask generic world citizen about generic americans, you'll get the response that they're fat and stupid. That's not even close to debatable.

This is the case whether you're british, french, german, australian, russian, chinese, whatever. This is not to say that their perception is correct - though in my view it's not far off - but this is how the world thinks of the US. At least, it used to. Then you elected a black president, and people thought 'wow, maybe they're learning, maybe they're dragging themselves in to the 21st century' and since then it's been a battle between a president wanting to bring the US up to 'normal' global social standards, and those same old establishment guys trying to hold back the tide.

Paramount to all of this, if you elect Donald Trump, you *will* be a laughing stock. Similarly with Jeb, however qualified he might be, he's just another Bush looking for 'his turn'. And to a lesser degree, Ben Carson. Most people haven't heard of Rubio, Cruz, Christie, Kasich, Sanders, O'Malley or i-Carly. The only reason another Clinton would not damage the reputation is because she's a woman.

This isn't meant to be an attack, though I'm sure some will see it that way - probably as a consequence of that fundamental arrogance - instead it's meant to just give an outsider's perspective of an outsider's perspective, something most here won't be able to do.

That isn't to say it's all bad. A subset of Americans - namely, those who aren't too fat and stupid to travel - are thought of as polite and well mannered, generally normal people. They see the country slowly getting on board with modern ideas like equal rights for gays and women and blacks, a president desperately trying to stop the endless reports of mass shootings, etc. Yes there are right wing people here, but generally they're not nearly as right wing as there, and certainly not openly. Being gay isn't a big deal in the rest of the developed world, for example, and hasn't been for some time.

HTH.

Nice troll gft. Every american thinks that Europeans are fat, have bad teeth and live off the American Defense spending.

And that's because the majority of americans havent' been out of the country nor care to. Otherwise they would see a lot of thinnish people who tend to walk or bike alot. As compared to americans who invent upright scooters so they don't have to go through the drag of walking down the hall 100 or so ft at work to take a shit. The bad teeth though is spot on, Chris can't even begin to deny that.

I remember when our ship pulled into port in Sydney Australia for a week in 76. Maybe things are different now but I met some people there who loved Americans. A couple of navy friends and myself met some Aussies at a pub and shot some pool with them and they invited us home for tea. We didn't know that meant dinner but they invited half the neighborhood over and we had a huge party. I will always remember the older neighbor who was telling me he was in a concentration camp in WW2 with some American POW's and they were the best people in the world and nobody better say anything bad about Americans in front of him.

If things have changed and are like what Chris says then that is sad.

I don't know of a single person that believes that.

As for myself whom has been out of the country, the amount of people that were obese in Europe that I saw wasn't even in the same ballpark as my own country. It makes me quite sad how little people in America seem to care for their health.
